My Way
And now, the end is near;
And so I face the final curtain.

The editor
of the video had at least omitted the sentence "You
don't excite me" from the mouth of Michal Anski. For Immanuel, who is not easily hurt, this was hurtful, as he had told us weeks ago, after the experience in real time. It's incredible what pain I feel, while cropping and editing and composing, correcting and re-correcting this scene of judgment. And though I know, it is not the end, he will not even have to move on to the "dismissal-dish", and a week later, on August 25, 2011 the judges will praise his dish of sugar crystal balls as "beyond what can be written in Guiness-records", - my child is my child, even when he's 48 years old.... I can only breathe heavily and sense the pain in throat and chest... |

I was very moved, how both, the old and the young woman, wanted the other
woman to win

This is the end of the 9th program of "Masterchef" and the end of
the first program of the elected team.
During my birthday celebration I heard Elah, my eldest granddaughter, criticise
that "people are crying so much".
"You cannot imagine",
explained her father, "under what pressure
we work there ,
and the scene you saw, was filmed after midnight, at about 2 AM , after 20
hours of having been awake."
As to me, I am very, very content, that these "reality-shows", hated
by some people so much,
do emphasize and bring out the feelings, the emotions, "the
Mother", not only in the participants,
but in those who watch them from their situation of comfort in their safe,
hidden homes.

Wednesday, August 17, 2011, Miki with Galli, her "very
old" friend
At first they play, of course, with Mika's "Dardassim".
The next time, I climb up to Mika's room to see what they are doing,
I find them enwrapping themselves in posh costumes, without any help,
and also without an audience, and perhaps even without a performance.
They said, they would call me for "the wedding", but they forgot
about it.

The cup, Galli had broken, was very precious to both of us.
Just before her 2nd birthday I had found it in the desert,
a child's cup - with the head of a duck sculpted on it.
