The Purpose  of   HEALING - K.I.S.S.

  to help me and my potential P E E R s

"to HEAL ourselves into WHOLEness,

I focus my experiencing and awareness on being
"a   pioneer of  Evolution  in  learning  to  feel":
I let my Body vibrate and my Heart 'womb'

pain, shame, fear, boredom, powerlessness,
so feelings can >heal >guide>fulfill
>evolve,
and ~~~ offer ~~~"goldmines"~~~ to us all!!
"I want you to feel everything, every little thing!"

Wholeness in the Bible and Holistic Health
2002_11_05 - the letter to Meir Weiss: re-discovered and inserted on April 10, 2011

My lecture in 1981 (inserted below)

2002_11_05; last update: 2011_04_14

Despite my PH.D. and my immense skill
in making the Bible relevant for people with a secular orientation,
I was rarely invited from the outside
to facilitate a seminary, a workshop, leave alone take part in a congress.
And when people did risk to invite me,
they always felt put to shame by my "non-conventional form",
as in this case:

I was invited to read a paper during
an "International Symposion for Medicine in the Bible",
[mentioned]
which took place in Jerusalem in August 1981.
I should not have accepted this invitation from the start,
since I've always hated to be taught in a "frontal" manner,
and I've certainly avoided to   t e a c h   frontally.
My strength is in "interactive" teaching/learning.

At one point I asked the audience to close their eyes!
This aroused unbelievable antagonism,
of which a trace can be found
in the printed collection of the papers delivered at that symposion.

After having re-read the paper for the first time since 1981,
I feel shame about something else:
It is a pitiable example of how I use to compress information.
Who on earth could have grasped so many and diverse issues?

I accept my pattern as a way to grow and I accept my shame.

30 years later, in April 2011, I re-read a letter,
which - after that congress - I wrote to Prof. Meir Weiss.

20 years earlier, obviously exactly when he published his book
"ha-miqraa ke-dmuto", the Bible in its likeness -
a term which associates God's creation of Wo/Man "in our likeness" Gen. 1:26
he was one of my teachers in Bible
during my scholarship year in Jerusalem 1960-61.

As theme for a research-paper he suggested:
Josef's Brothers.
Though at that time my knowing and understanding of
the "Holistic Interpretation" of the Bible
introduced by Benno Jacob, Martin Buber
[darko shael Mikra], Franz Rosenzweig,
and followed by Meir Weiss,
was still minimal,
and my Hebrew so poor, that the second half of the paper I wrote in German
,
Weiss was so pleased, that he advised me to show it to Prof. von Rad,
once I would return to Germany and begin to study in Heidelberg.
Though the article about Gerhard von. Rad in Wikipedia explains,
why Weiss may have appreciated this man's interpretation of the Bible,
another Internet article about von Rad's "tradition history approach" shows,
why this man was helpless, when he had to read my "Josefs' Brothers".
Read the story about v. Rad and Rosenstock in K.i.s.s.-Log 2008,

A coincidence in April 2011:

I had just copied this letter to Weiss, including the last passage
about my ignorance and also intolerance concerning the official research of the Bible
when I came across a book and now website, fervently recommended by Rabbi Ohad Ezrachi
I deleted it – angered, that what Ohad calls a "really new" interpretation,
seemed to be yet another historical analysis,
this time splitting apart what the author calls "original Hebrews" and "Jews".
What I came upon right away, was the interpretation of the two Genesis accounts,
about which I had talked again with two of the starchildren, Boris and Gal,
"See the ingenuity of describing Creation
from both - a non-linear and a linear perspective.

But this man,
whom I can no longer find on the Internet – accords them to "Hebrews" and "Jews".
Was it in vain,
that my father-in-law countered that obsessive analysing of the "sources" of the Bible,
by calling the socalled R –(Redactor) "Rabbenu" = our master,
who integrated 24 books and all their contents, however contradicting they may be?
[See about Franz Rosenzweig in K.i.s.s.-Log 2008]

Now, on April 14, 2011, while searching for the forerunner of the holistic interpretation, Benno Jacob,
I came across this "revelation": GENESIS: THE FIRST BOOK OF THE BIBLE-AUGMENTED EDITION
2007

Meir Weiss, my teacher in 1960-61

Benno Jacob (1862-1945)- recognized finally?

Abimelekh: Genesis 20,17-18; Mirjam: Nu 12,10;
it's significant, that Aharon, the man, was NOT stricken with leprosy,
though he had rebelled against Moses just like his sister!
Rabbi Jehuda - see the whole story in my book.
