Appendix:
On April 29, 2001, three days before I began my
pilgrimage
my family met at a "Succah"-like
place, called "Alladin", near Modi'in,
[where I had lived for half a year
until then - in my daughter's garden,
in my tent.]
to say Goodbye to Grandma.
In hindsight it seems, that there was an intuitive knowing,
that this could have been our last togetherness.
Immanuel managed not only to take photos with his newly required first digital
camera,
but also to print some of them,
so that I could stick them into the journal, which Efrat had bought for me,
and take comfort, when needed....
