I learnt this moving ballad from a record by Alfred Deller,
which I heard over and over again in the early seventies.
Searching on the Internet , I find much info about this ballad
but only an American version of its lyrics
On the other hand I found a website with clips of
Deller's original songs, the way I heard them so often.!

on January 1, 2012 - Immanuel sent the link to a video with stills about Mika in Bangkok

" Mika and I soared on Omegas
for 3 hours
above tree tops at the height of 100 m,
we passed rope bridges and moved down ropes from the tree-tops
Mika did this without the slightest fright
and even asked to be swung and swirled

For the time being
I'm adding a collage,
which Mika will present at school "

I asked about the Thai man
about whom he's telling ,
that he sang the old Hebrew song
"El Ha-ma'ayan" - "to the spring"

"Did he work on the fields of Kibbutz Sa'ad?"
For who works on the fields of Israel
if not people from Thailand?
One of the Israeli "bosses" at Sa'ad,
who is a brother of my daughter-in-love Ra'ayah,
created a doc movie about these Thais,
both at Sa'ad and in their families in Thailand.
But not, this man had learnt the song
of Immanuel Amiran,
from an Israeli tourist!

of which I like the lyrics very much, e.g. the chorus:

and "The Secret Recipe of Immanuel", educating kids to volunteer for people in need at Shoham,
a video which brings up tears, whenever I watch and hear it

in a note on Facebook -
she expresses gratitude for a very good cooperation.
as contrasted to what she told me in Eilat-Sept. 2009,
"you can't get on stage, unless you push aside everyone else."

Lyrics - to my disappointment ... - by Uzi Hitman...
It was Efrat, who informed me, that Hitman was the author of the song
that contains this very popular, but so misleading line:
