As the fruit of becoming whole = accepting all of myself, I desire:
to live and explore and evolve   L O V E   in my personal life
and to play my part in creating the conditions for Heaven-on-Earth
by radiating grate-full-ness, zest-full-ness and full-fill-ment
on the actors in my individual life-drama and on all human beings!

Hiob or Job

2007_02_21

tune:
Christa-Rachel Bat-Adam

July-August 1986

July-August 1986, at the time when my bus parked at Ramat-Hasharon,
an old friend came to visit me from his Moshav Rishpon:
Abraham Lisod, my faithful partner from the time of "Partnership",
and begged me to create a tune to Rachel's poem about Job.

My (Hebrew) Bible is open at the book of Job,

wondrous man, teach me, too,

to bless the bad as blessing the good

as a blessing for the one who beats us.

If only like you we were knowing in
haegae and hee

to pour before you the
siakh

and like you would come to the fatherly lap

to lay our tired head

See the context to the following research of Rachel's expressions
haegai, hee, siakh,
which indicate that pain has to be "moved" , sounded, vibrated,
on September 25, 2010, at the bottom of the page "Learn&Live Overview 2005"

And when I looked behold a hand was put forth unto me and lo a roll of a book was therein
and He spread it before me and it was written within and without
and there was written therein lamentations and moaning and woe
[haegae and hee]
Ezechiel 2: 9-10

We all growl like bears and mourn sore [hagoh naehgaeh] like doves
we look for right but there is none, for salvation but it is far off from us.

Isaiah 59:11
["I moan as a dove" also in Is 34:14 but also
"as the lion growling over his prey" Is 31:4]

And most obvious in Psalm 15: 4-7 about other people's gods:
Their idols are silver and gold the work of men's hands.
They have mouths but they speak not, eyes have they but they see not
They have ears but they hear not , noses have they but they smell not
They have hands but they touch not, feet have they but they walk not
neither   s p e a k    t h e y   w i t h      t h e i r     t h r o a t .

Hear attentively the noise of His voice,
and the sound that goeth out of His mouth.
After it a voice roareth;
He thundereth with the voice of His majesty...
God thundereth marvellously with His voice
Job 37: 2.4.5

Also the poetess' word "siakh", which nowadays indicates "talk", "talking",
means in 11 from among the 14 verses, as my concordance (Even-Shoshan 1981) explains:

= "the pouring-out of the soul", or Lament (as Buber translates Psalm 102:1
"Gebet eines Gebeugten, wenn er verzagt
und schuettet seine Klage vor IHN

A Prayer of the afflicted, when he fainteth,
and poureth out his complaint before the LORD
Psalm 102:1

2010_02_11-13 - Mika's Heaven on Earth

Since August 1, 2009,
I employ song-page after song-page
for documenting and exploring
the evolution of Mika
my youngest grandchild,

whose assignment seems to be:
to demonstrate to humankind
by her own living and doing,
how to playfully create
from moment to moment

"zest-fully and full-filled"

[see previous composition]
May the graciousness of Ha-Shem be upon us

the work of our hands establish upon us

yea, establish the work of our hands
Psalm 90 end

Each child delivers his/her flower
to Imma,
but Mika's Imma proposes her
to present the flower to ME.

All families were presented by a family-photo on the wall, and all families received a cup with the photo of their child engraved in it.

I watched the families
they seemed to be "normative", the fathers and mothers dressed in jeans or tights, with similar T-shirts and blouses.
This was conforting on the one hand (since forever on such occasions I keep seeing scenes of Jews 70 years ago....),
on the other hand I missed some colors, some ethnic variety at least, if not some social differences.

And there - as if someone had heard me - a woman entered, perhaps in her early thirties - she looked like Anne Frank!
I asked Efrat and others: "who is this?" Nobody knew.
Then I saw her talking to Efrat, out of all people my daughter-in-love.
"She wants to check, if this is the kindergarden she wants for her child.
She was told to talk to me, I don't know why!"

Surprised at this coincidence, I remembered a doc I had seen in 3SAT recently and asked Efrat:
"Did you know, that a treasure of photos and documents of the Frank family was found and edited as a book?
And that Mip Gies, the woman, who hid the family in her back-room, died on January 12, at the age of 100?"

After the general event
had come to an end,
I caught Mika
as she gave a performance
of herself to herself...

That's how Mika wants to see herself in the mirror....

A weekend with lots of activities awaits us.
One of them:
to pluck "Chinese Oranges" from the tree.
Since I had to hold Mika high up, carefully,
I took her picture under the tree only later,
when she tried out her costume for Purim.

I don't remember, why she became mad at me.
When I was a kid, other kids used to laugh, that I was most pretty, when mad...

When Mika saw the harvest of our oranges,
she had an idea:

"Let's make fruit-salat!"
So we took out whatever fruits we found in the fridge
"[not persimmon, Imma is allergic against it", I said,
she ran to Imma to ask, if we could use "afarsemon".
"No...."]

I figured out, that Mika liked the sight of the oranges
but wouldn't like their taste, like most people I know.
So I wanted to add only 3 fruits, but she protested:

"You must take at least ten!"
But, alas, later she didn't eat anything of the fruit-salad,
because removing the little pieces of oranges was not possible..

Anyway, what was important for Mika,
was to set "our" festive table,
with one candle [since Shabbat candles had run out]
and to invite Imma to eat with us in "our" room.

Suddenly she had an additional idea:
"I want to bless over the Shabbat-candle(s), give me a book , please!"
I pulled a small book, not a prayer-book, from the family's shelf in "my" room
and she blessed....

The next morning, Shabbat, February 13, I found her like this in front of the television...

While Imma sits, as often,
outside on the veranda,
with her laptop and cigarette,
I join Mika
in watching
her Chinese series.
The value
which is taught today,
is
how to share things you love....

I don't remember,
why Mika started to dance
in front of the TV set

Later that Shabbat morning the two of us "go out".
I show into all 4 directions and let Mika choose.
"You are pointing to the South", I teach her,
and that's where we went.
The pathway through the houses is short,
already after 7 minutes we reach this Eucalyptus
with a "house" built in its stems by some kids
and a mattress underneath.
Oh, this cursed mattress...
