of what the judges intended to achieve.
  
I, Christa-Rachel, Immanuel's mother,
have been healing, learning and creating
through "Healing-K.i.s.s." since 10 years.
That it was erased on..... Christmas 2008
was a sign: "no longer create new pages!
but add new creations to existing pages!

The purpose was revealed only N O W:

Everyone wants to be a Cook,
a special program with the finalists of Masterchef.
This is really a summary or an excerpt or a demonstration
of what the judges, here: Chaim Cohen, intended to achieve.



These are the last 2 pages with my sculpted re-creation-in-slow-motion of the Masterchef reality-show
revolutionized into a show of love by my son , his partners and their judges.

 

"that you knew that you entered as Immanuel
and that you would go out from here
as another Immanuel "


"The first was,
when I worked with Elihav
on the pair assignment , there I felt
that there was a joy,
a kind of exhilaration
which was totally different ,

" though each of us gave what he gave
with all his heart,

" something there
opened a channel,
"there was
a kind of dialog
between
the terribly precise
place of mine,
with this -
' what are the exact spices to put in the food, '

"and
the explosion
of creativity
in the fruit-salad ...

there
a chemical encounter took place "

Chaim:
"And when this got connected in you,
the head to the belly..."

Immanuel:
Till then I was very nailed on recipes, I read a lot of recipes, without end , and there I began to let go of them and to simply flow with the materials

Chaim:
"How wonderful"

Immanuel:
"Now, there were a lot of errors
on the way.

Chaim: "All our life we make a lot of errors, I , too, and everything is alright"
Chaim brings a simple device for mashing potatoes.
Immanuel: "this one I like"
Chaim:
"You like it? then take it,
I brought it for you.

"So now what are we going to do?"

Chaim:
"There mustn't be any peel.
You see?
I call this 'skin,
Ok?
a potato is not allowed
to have a skin




"How pretty, ah?"

 


"Tell me, now at home
are you more tested than before? More demanded? ...
"I was tested also before"
Chaim to Elihav and Avi:
"This one , he has a probation officer at home."
Avi: "A Moroccan one"
[he knows, that the parents of Immanuel's wife Efrat
came from Morocco
and her 2 elder brothers were even still born there]
Immanuel:
"No, I have a source of creativity at home,
that is unbelievable.
The method works like this:
my wife comes with the idea
and now it's up to me to find a way to apply it.
This works very well .
 

"Always fine salt, never crude salt"

Chaim says: "Very good, okay"
 and once more, without any transition relates to the food:

"Part of the dishes I made here
began with a brain-storming at home."
 

And again, without transition - deep questions:
"What I noticed, Immanuel, is
that actually you like team, team work"

" if one knows to handle this right ,
and this I know how to do ..."
"First of all it is generally more relaxed,

"Very, very much...
This has several aspects.

"And this is amazing,
for I went through team-work
several times here
and every time there was a bloom,
no matter with whom.

Chaim:
"One needs to have character
to be able to work with a team,
even if you are number one."

Without transition:
"Okay, I'll put a drop of olive-oil,
a tiny drop,
about a tea-spoon not more...
take out the yolk,
begin to make gnocchis for us"

  
 



Avi: "Tell me, Chaim, I, when I fry onion, I love to add crude pepper"
Chaim: "Do you like this?" " Yes!" "You see, the answer is simple!"


 
Avi: "You can never know, how much flour, right? It depends on the consistence of the potatoes"
Chaim shows them, how he senses this....

"We need more right?" "a little, little bit"
Chaim to Immanuel:
"Now, what did I like now when you told me: 'stop'?
That you already begin to lead'
you feel the material,
you tell me to stop in time,
this is fantastic!"

"And most important, come, we have a pot with water here"
"Can I make one only?" "Yes"

 

Comment of Rachel:
Another benefit I draw from watching this process for hours
(in the video the entire page here takes not more than 5 minutes) is,
that for the first time in my life I realize, how I myself work
when baking and cooking, kneading and flavoring.
This was a realm where I never analyzed,
hardly planned, hardly consciously learnt
, it was and is 'in my blood'...
How to make a caramel cream,
how to make ghee [samna=refined butter[,
how to make "my" puree, "my" potato-salad, how to make "my" pancakes,
to mention just a few of the recipes which can hardly be copied by anyone ,
because it's not so much a matter of the mixture of what quantities of ingredients are needed,
but the exact intuitive measure of materials and the exact timing - not too much, not too little.
