As the fruit of becoming whole = accepting all of myself, I desire:
to live and explore and evolve   L O V E   in my personal life
and to play my part in creating the conditions for Heaven-on-Earth
by radiating grate-full-ness, zest-full-ness and full-fill-ment
on the actors in my individual life-drama and on all human beings!

Desert earth, devoted or rebellious
Desert wind, relaxed or tempestuous,
Desert moon, radiating or veiled;
Naked and pure is the desert earth

She conceives, she gives birth
to love and grace,
compassion of Wo/Man,
compassion of Wo/Man
towards him/herself.

July-August 1994
3 times the week long program
"Aetgar ba-Midbar"
"Challenge in the Desert"

The participants of the "Aetgar" learn to feel and move feelings -
Yael Gavish, my "best pupil" and a hostess, teaches how
The live in 7 pyramidal tents around "Yishma'el" and cook for themselves.
Yael shows them, how

It was 3 times in a row, that we conducted this program,
me, Yael Gavish, Uri Goldin and another young man, whose name I dare not mention.
In November, when I was no longer part of the Succah, Yael facilitated her own "Aetgar".

The following year, Pesach 1995,
graduates from the 4 "courses" of "Aetgar-ba-midbar" gathered for a follow-up,
called "Khoter", rod, According to Isaiah 11,1 : "a rod out of the stem of Jesse".
I was not involved except for one program:
I suggested to do something tangible, physical, visible together:
make a path between the Succah and the Midbaron.
We were not allowed to do that, and just walked,
hoping that this walking one after the other would leave a trace for a future path.

I and one of the boys lie on the edge of the crater and enjoy looking down into the abyss ,
while Gadi, the photographer, enjoys this girl's hair in the wind, which is always strong here.

Though we are not permitted to make a path, as intended,
we walk one after the other, to make a difference on the desert earth,
and I show them, how to build a rugum, a path sign,
by balancing 2 or 3 heavy stones.

Until I'll come around to sculpt this page, (another part see in "Training Space")
I quote what some young people wrote after the week of "Aetgar ba-Midbar"

Since I never came around to complete this page, I shall use the free space on it
for inserting more of the old negatives which I let scan recently.
