Whose God is this?

Comment: Hello. I found your site while surfing the net
looking to see if there were any good sites that pertained to my God.
Yours is not one of the sites that I wanted to find!
This "god" that you are supposed to be channeling is not the God,
the One Living God, the God of Israel and of the earth.

Channelers:
It's the same God, there's only one God.

Comment: So I was wondering what god you channeled.
Because the Bible clearly states that there are no other gods that have power.

Channelers:
In the early days of Christianity there was a group of very devout Christians
who believed that the best and surest way to find God and honor God~
was by knowing Him directly, through an inner connection with Christ in their hearts.
They were called the Gnostics, or "knowers".
And they were all either killed or driven underground by the fathers of the Church,
who labeled them as "heretics".

It was these same Church fathers of the time
who sifted through the many available texts
and created what we now know as the Bible.
In recent times Bible scholars have discovered
and translated many more of the early writings of the apostles
that had been omitted by the Church fathers
who originally compiled the Bible,
including many of the same texts that had inspired the Gnostics.

The vital, leading edge of modern Christianity now includes a renaissance in Gnosticism.
We and our ministry here are part of this renaissance.
It means that the true message of God
and the presence of Christ
is within each person~
regardless of the outer form of their worship and devotion --
and not in outside "authorities"
whose livelihood and position depends upon others believing
that the authorities know more about God than you,
or us, or anyone who is capable of finding God within themselves.
The purpose of the web site is to help people find God within themselves,
and to have a first-hand relationship with God.
To the established Church fathers, this of course is heresy,
but then that was what the Jewish religious leaders at the time said about Jesus,
and what the Catholic Church said about Martin Luther.

Comment: I'm concerned that the things you are encouraging people to seek
leads them straight to death and to hell.

Channelers:
Thanks for voicing this concern directly to us,
because we are indeed the humans who are responsible for the encouragement.
But God is really the one who is encouraging people to seek him inside of themselves,
and He has asked us to publish this channeled material.
He's not saying people should not go to church, quite the contrary.
He's encouraging people to find Him (the Holy Spirit)~ within their own souls,
and Christ within their own hearts.

Comment: Because Jesus is the only way to make it to heaven.

Channelers:
Your comment raises some questions in us.
Do you really mean the "only" way?
How can this be true?
Is this something you have read in the Bible?
If so, it's not the whole story,
remember the bible was "edited" by the Church fathers for their own self interest.
They wanted to protect their power and position
as the necessary intermediaries between God and the people.
Is this something someone else has told you?
Or, have you have found Jesus himself in your heart~
and this is what your heart is telling you?
These are important questions,
because there are many who believe things only
because they've been told to believe them,
not because it is true for them in their deepest inner knowing of God.

We certainly hope you are not saying
that only those who know God as the Christ Jesus will be "saved".
That is a very archaic notion
that would be hellish for those devout and sincere people
who adhere to different religions and teachings,
or who seek God within
- and a very uncharitable and un-Christian belief to hold.
Would you believe a Loving God could damn them for eternity?

Does God seem to you to be a God of vengeance,
who would punish those who haven't heard of him through the Bible,
or who walk a path to Him other than Christianity?
If so, then that is not the God we know,
and it is not the God of the Bible, the One Living God.
That God, the true God~ dwells in all humans,
regardless of the color of skin, nationality, religious preferences or beliefs.
And he offers salvation to all through knowing Him directly.

Comment: He comes to us through the Holy Spirit, we don't have to go to Him.

Channelers:
Yes! This is exactly right. He comes to us.
And the Holy Spirit, who dwells within each human being~ wants us to open to receive Him.
This is what the web site is about.
It's about what us humans can do on our side~
to deepen and widen our connection
- first with the Holy Spirit,
and then opening to receive His Light in our Hearts.

But the language on the web site is not couched in traditional Christian terms.
This is not to deny Jesus,
but rather to help bring His and the Holy Spirit's Love and Light
to those who can not receive a "Christian" message of the indwelling God.
And of course we also know
that not everyone will be able to relate well with the language on the site,
and that those who believe
that only the understanding of God that they have already been taught is the correct one~
will be turned away.

Channelers:
Thank you again for your interest and your concern,
and for taking the time to write to us.
We would encourage you in prayer
to ask God within you
(and not an outside teacher or advisor, or even the Bible),
if it is good for you to read any more of the material on the site.
If the answer from God inside you is "no",

We believe when reading the material with an open mind~
you will find the wisdom and advice here
does not conflict with anything else you are doing to love, honor and serve God.
We believe it will not take you away from what in your heart you know is true,
but only add new dimensions to your understanding,
and your ability to connect directly with God.
Also, we'd like to add that the site is still in progress,
most of the information about Christ (Heart) has not yet been channeled.

May the blessings of God rain down upon you and your work,
and may the Love of the Mother draw the Light of the Holy Spirit into your heart.
And may their union in your heart manifest as new Love and Peace in your life,
and in the lives of your family and friends.
