Sheila,
then 22, was my teacher in Re-evaluation
Counseling, She had come to Israel for the sake of teaching and for applying the teaching to coping with the Jewish-Palestinian conflict. After some years she returned to the USA. She taught us this song, while playing the guitar. I'm not sure, I remember all the words correctly. |

The way to the song, which should be one of my favorites, was

Even before father and sister left for the airport
Mika began her flow of activities in my room.

 Princess Mika's eyes on the background of her mother's painted eyeless figure See in Learn&Live: Wave of Gratitude: Day 12,The Eye, Sept. 20 "What are you cutting?" "I don't know." Why had she thrown upon herself my old skirt and the old torn bridal veil, which I once made for her? She didn't even tell me, that they had brought pretty material from Bangkok, so I could sow two new veils! |
Elah is ready to go out for the flight, while Mika has come back from ballet-class

As I mentioned somewhere:
if there is one single person on this planet, who causes me to come in contact with feelings of jealousy,
it is Elah, when she is so adored and loved and hugged by Mika.
My ego then whines:
"but I'm so much more with you than Elah.... etc. etc., and you don't give me half of the love, which you give to Elah."
Of course, I'm not identified with this feeling, nor do I even mention it to anyone.
I'm grateful, that it helps me to identify with people, who are plagued by jealousy.

Mischievous Mika!
She dresses up with a big shawl and my blanket cover,
and - half-naked - threatens to cut through the chain,
which I got from Ayelet, Mika's cousin, 2 years ago.
And the next day, after her return from the course "Flamenco
for Kids",
she takes advantages of her mother's absence and dances on the chairs,
never mind, that she knows my bladder will suffer, if she risks too much!
