Time-Line of the circumstances, into which Mika let herself
be born: 2004, December, I settle in a one-room flat in Arad, but go on with the work on my Desert Vision 2005, January, Efrat suddenly becomes pregnant - without treatment - but has an abortion. 2005, March-April, Efrat again becomes pregnant

In September 1999 Immanuel moved to the new town Shoham
for the single reason,
that it was close to Modi'in, but not too close.
It was to Modi'in, the town of my daughter's family, to where his children
and their mother had moved.
Modi'in , founded in
1993 just like Shoham,
is situated about 20 minutes drive further east, on the way to Jerusalem.
On October 31,1999 when
I had nowhere to go, Immanuel gave me refuge in this flat.
Efrat moved in only on March 13, 2000, by chance exactly on the day, on which
I went down to
live at the Dead Sea.
When it became too hot there, and the persecution of the Nature Reserve Authority
too irritating,
I moved to Shoham again, on July 1, 2000, this time with Immanuel and Efrat
together, until November 4, 2000.
There are almost no photos of this entire year.

2002 April, at Modi'in, in my flat
(partly paid by Immanuel, for he wanted to have a place, where he could come
to from kfar vradim to host his children.)

2002 December 29 - Michigan, USA:
After more than 4 years of healing each others' wounds from former marriages,
they decide to marry~ in a Jewish community which makes them feel welcome.
At the very same hour I watch over them in the far away desert of Israel,
the cradle of the moon shines between the palm-fronds of my cabin.
I've brought Immanuel's sons for a weekend to Succah
in the Desert,
but they are fast asleep, while their father stands under the Chuppah.

 2003 April - video talks via my computer, phone talks via my phone - with USA. Tomer is excited to join Abba and "Chief". Efrat ["Chief"] will have less time for her art, for now she will be a mother to Tomer.

2003 May, USA, work for Immanuel, school for Tomer, courses for ceramics etc. for Efrat in Michigan, then across the US the three of them camping

 When the three of them come back, July 2003, they fall right into a celebration of Modi'in, in which Rotem, Ronnit's daughter, takes part. I also enjoy the friendship between my daughter Ronnit and my daughter-in-love, Efrat. |
 |
 2003, July , Modi'in Having no flat anywhere, the couple stays with me for 3 weeks. Tomer at this time stays with his mother and siblings, who live 5 minutes walk away from me. 7 minutes away from me lives Ronnit, my daughter's family, To Micha, my youngest son's family, it's half an hour drive. This geographic closeness gives us a chance for a lovely "mix", both on "Grandma-Days" with the quartet, here Ayelet, Itamar, Yael, and on special occasions, like on a trip to the sea at Tel-Aviv. |

Immanuel and Efrat find a house to rent , again at Kfar-Wradim in the Galilee, Tomer lives with them and Alon comes to visit.
I, too, come to visit them and bring with me Jonathan, my daughter's eldest, same age as Alon and at that time his friend lbelow, to the right].

Immanuel's photos of three boys jumping are contrasting
his photo of the serenity of a Galilee sunset.
It looks like a "normal" family, when
they celebrate Elah's and Alon's birthdays (Aug.7 and Aug.8) , but it is not...
2003, August-September

 Tomer enters yet another school (the fourth), third grade, where with the help of Immanuel and Efrat, much loving attention is paid to the stressed boy. Efrat also takes him to Capoiera lessons, which is just the perfect kind of sports for him. But after some months he trespasses the rules and must forego what he loves... |
 Efrat's eldest brother, Dani, brings a little girl, Shakhaf, into the family. But it's not Efrat's daughter and it's not yet Mika.... |

Immanuel and Efrat support a candidate for the municipal elections at Kfar-Wradim.
Tomer, who still lives with his father and his step-mother, also takes part,
but then there is also home-work to do.....
