I focus my experiencing and awareness on being
"a   pioneer of  Evolution  in  learning  to  feel":
I let my Body vibrate and my Heart 'womb'

pain, shame, fear, boredom, powerlessness,
so feelings can >heal >guide>fulfill
>evolve,
and ~~~ offer ~~~"goldmines"~~~ to us all!!
"I want you to feel everything, every little thing!"

Singing&Sounding keeps me Sound

Geh’ aus mein Herz und suche Freud

2007_08_31

lyrics:
Paul Gerhardt 1656
Part of the two translations are not exactly to my liking...
but the fact that they were created, tells me,
that I'm not the only one who is enchanted with this song,
at least with the stanzas I've quoted in big fonts
tune:
August Harder
1775-1813

Paul Gerhardt 1656

1. Geh’ aus mein Herz und suche Freud
In dieser schönen Sommerzeit
An deines Gottes Gaben
Schau an der schönen Gärtenzier
Und siehe wie sie mir und dir
|: Sich ausgeschmücket haben :|

2. Die Bäume stehen voller Laub
Das Erdreich decket seinen Staub
Mit einem grünen Kleide
Narzissen und die Tulipan
Die ziehen sich viel schöner an
|: Als Salomonis Seide :|.

3. Die Lerche schwingt sich in die Luft
Das Täublein fliegt auf seiner Kluft
Und macht sich in die Wälder
Die hochbegabte Nachtigall
Ergötzt und füllt mit ihrem Schall
|: Berg Hügel Tal und Felder :|.

4. Die Glucke führt ihr Völklein aus
Der Storch baut und bewohnt sein Haus
Das Schwälblein speist die Jungen
Der schnelle Hirsch das leichte Reh
Ist froh und kommt aus seine Höh
|: In’s tiefe Gras gesprungen :|.

5. Die Bächlein rauschen in dem Sand
Und malen sich an ihrem Rand
Mit schattenreichen Myrten
Die Wiesen liegen hart dabei
Und klingen ganz vom Lustgeschrei
|: Der Schaf’ und ihrer Hirten :|.

6. Die unverdroßne Bienenschar
Fliegt hin und her, sucht hier und da
Ihr edle Honigspeise
Des süßen Weinstocks starker Saft
Bringt täglich neue Stärk’ und Kraft
|: In seinem schwachen Reise :|.

7. Der Weizen wächset mit Gewalt
Darüber jauchzet jung und alt
Und rühmt die große Güte
Des, der so überflüssig labt
Und mit so manchem Gut begabt
|: Das menschliche Gemüte :|.

8. Ich selber kann und mag nicht ruhn
Des großen Gottes großes Tun
Erweckt mir alle Sinnen
Ich singe mit, wenn alles singt
Und lasse was dem Höchsten klingt
|: Aus meinem Herzen rinnen :|.

9. Ach denk ich bist Du hier so schön
Und läßt Du’s uns so lieblich gehn
Auf dieser armen Erde
Was will doch wohl nach dieser Welt
Dort in dem reichen Himmelszelt
|: Und güldnen Schlosse werden? :|

10. Welch hohe Lust, welch heller Schein
Wird wohl in Christi Garten sein!
Wie wird es da wohl klingen?
Da so viel tausend Seraphim
Mit unverdroßnem Mund und Stimm
|: Ihr Halleluja singen :|.

11. Oh wär ich da, o stünd ich schon
Ach süßer Gott vor Deinem Thron
Und trüge meine Palmen!
So wollt ich nach der Engel Weis’
Erhöhen Deines Namens Preis,
|: Mit tausend schönen Psalmen :|.

12. Doch gleichwohl will ich weil ich noch
Hier trage dieses Leibes Joch
Auch gar nicht stille schweigen.
Mein Herze soll sich fort und fort
An diesem und an allem Ort
|: Zu Deinem Lobe neigen :|.

13. Hilf mir und segne meinen Geist
Mit Segen, der vom Himmel fleußt,
Daß ich Dir stetig blühe;
Gib, daß der Sommer Deiner Gnad
In meiner Seele früh und spat
|: Viel Glaubensfrücht erziehe :|.

14. Mach in mir Deinem Geiste Raum,
Daß ich Dir werd ein guter Baum,
Und laß mich Wurzeln treiben;
Verleihe, daß zu Deinem Ruhm,
Ich Deines Gartens schöne Blum
|: Und Pflanze möge bleiben :|.

15. Erwähle mich zum Paradeis,
Und laß mich bis zur letzten Reis
An Leib und Seele grünen;
So will ich Dir und Deiner Ehr
Allein und sonstern Keinem mehr
|: Hier und dort ewig dienen. :|

Translation: Frank 1999

1. Go seek, my heart, the joys of life,
This lovely summertime so rife,
In all the gifts God gave you.
Look at the gardens, colourful' displayed,
See how, for you and me they've made
|: An overwhelming view. :|

2. The trees so full of leaves they seem,
To cover all of earth in green,
A mantle full of splendor.
The daffodils and tulips are
Dressed finer than a queen by far,
|: In silken robes that tend her. :|

3. The lark takes wing into the air,
The dove flies out of it's own lair,
And heads into the greenness.
So talented, the nightingale
Enthralls and fills both hill and dale
|: With song of wondrous sweetness. :|

4. The hen leads out her flock of chicks
The stork builds his house out of sticks
The swallow feeds her young ones.
The nimble stag, the dainty doe
The heights leave for the valley low
|: In deep green grass to gambol. :|

5. The babbling brook runs through the sand,
Its banks a decorated band
Of many-shaded myrtle.
In meadows, just beside the rill,
Bleats full of joy, the air do fill,
|: From sheep on earth so fertile. :|

14. O holy Spirit, lodge in me,
That I'll become a healthy tree,
My roots firm, you my tether.
Bestow this, that in your great praise,
A lovely flower you may raise,
|: That I might be forever. :|

Translation: Erich Lettbecker1999

1. In Summer's warm and sunny days,
My Heart, arise and sing the praise
Of God's all-bounteous favor;
Behold, His hands the gardens fair
Have decked with blossoms everywhere;
Come, praise your God and Saviour.

2. The trees with leaves are crowned again,
The Earth shall deck its dust with green,
A robe of grass and flowers;
The tulip red, the lily white,
Are dressed in satin garments bright,
More than King Solomon's powers

3,4,5.The birds their happy chorus raise;
The forest creatures' happy lays
Proclaim their Maker's glory;
The brooks that babble in the sand,
The bees that hum throughout the land,
All sing the wondrous story.

7. The wheatfields ripen in the sun,
Let those who see it, everyone,
Behold their Father's goodness;
Who gives us daily bread to eat,
Wo succors us with slumber sweet,
And gives us strength for rising,

8. Nor silent can my own tongue be,
I'll tell what God has done for me,
His mighty deeds reviewing;
I'll sing how His love sought and found,
I'll sing how He is faith's strong ground,
My heart with Grace renewing.

9. How great the blessings here below
Which Thou in mercy dost, bestow
Upon Thy creatures lowly;
How great the blessings which await
In Thy blest Garden's happy state,
Our heavenly home most holy.

10. What radiance then, what pleasure there,
Will we in Jesus' Garden share,
With Seraphim loud singing;
The holy music fills the air,
They sing their hallelujahs fair,
In heaven1y chorus ringing.

13. Lord Jesus, shower me from above
With heavenly grace and Thy dear love,
Uphold me by Thy power;
The summer of Thy grace to me
Shall make of me a fruitful tree,
And bring my soul to flower.

14. In Thy great Garden make me room
That as a tree I grow and. bloom,
With roots in Thee fast grounded;
O grant that ever to Thy praise
I bloom and flourish all my days,
And bear rich fruit unbounded,

2011

En-JOY-ing and growing with Mika and my Family
following the documentation "Mika's Heaven on Earth", inserted since Song Game 2007_01_01

Shoham, May 27-29, 2011
continued from my last weekend with Mika

Mika decides to retrieve the two "old" paintings from the almost empty toy-storage-box in my room,
and with great skill balances the upper picture (once painted with Yael, her cousin, as she remembers)
on the lower picture (once painted with me) , and finally photographs the composition with my camera.
She has to re-do the balancing often, and in between focuses the camera on different items in my room,
like on this butterfly rubber on her desk next to my bed, on which I lie and watch her creative activity.

self-portraits done by stretching out her arm with the camera in her hand

When she does not focus well, the outcome is a mystical image.

Then I'm introduced to her new hobby: growing silk-worms during their short season between end of May and beginning of June

Though Mika is once again a bit sick with her streptococcus,
we are allowed to go out.
I wanted to go to our Succah-Hill,
but Mika - no longer used to walk ,
[our last walk took place about 6 weeks ago]
pleads with me to only go to our olive-tree,
7 minutes from her house.
I'm frustrated, the more so, as I believe, her immune-system would be stronger,
if she would be more in nature, even if it's "too cold" or "too hot" or another too, too, too.
I find a way to convey this view to Efrat without triggering her,
and in the afternoon she even joins us for the walk to the mulberry trees.

Since I was bequeathed 2 summer-suits of silk (poor worms...) by Tzilla, the neighbor,
my legs are bare, and Mika is delighted, when I propose her to prepare mud.
It was me, who thought of bringing a pail and a brush with us, "in case.....".

what a shrewd face she makes,
while plastering me with mud!

In the afternoon Rotem comes to Shoham.
She is already allowed to drive alone.

It was 4 days after her 18th birthday,
and one day after her graduation in art.

As to our "Grandma-Birthday-Talk",
which last year I had carefully noted,
it was so vast, so deep, so mature,
that I can only hope
not only for herself, but for the World,
that she'll remember to write it down herself.

Her first "hodayah" (thanksgiving) out of 18, was:
"I'm grateful,
that my sister Yael has become my close friend."

And indeed,
the "Grandma-Birthday-Talk with Yael
who became 15 on May 9, 2011, was,
though only by phone,
just as vast and deep and mature.
After 15 thanksgivings
she "had to" say 3 desires for this year.
Her third desire was:

"That I may be better able to express
towards people,
when I feel appreciation or gratitude
towards them!"

Mika definitely knows
how to express appreciation:
While she can't be with her cousin,
since her cousin works with Grandma,
she creates a drawing
"from Mika ... for Rotem"
18

with happy friends,
colorful balloons
and firework in the middle.

Two days later not Rotem, but her mother, my daughter, sent me the raw material of Rotem's artwork, part of her "bagrut"-examination in art
[See also her letter about her 12 years in the 12 year old Democratic School of Modi'in]

"Like two lanterns of a ship,
which lit up each other
not in the same night
and not on the same sea
"
Dalia Rabinowitsh
I am afraid
that my loves
will not end.
Only rise
one
above
the other

and like
the
exchange
of looks
with
someone
in a
parallel
bus

And we'll always descend
at another station
and for eternity
not exchange but looks

I shall only keep falling in love with people,
who are
with me
on the same trail

Not
from the same bus

and not on the same sea

I invite you, the spectators, to a personal journey , my own and yours.

Deeply impressed, not only by Rotem's art-full-ness, but even more by her evolutionary courage to expose herself so as to share herself with all of us, I wrote to her mother:

Rotem had only 20 minutes until she had to drive back and turn the car over to her soldier-brother.
Mika did everything to make Rotem interested in her and her play, so she would stay longer:

Rotem: "I die on Mika", which is Hebrew slang for: "I love her dearly".
See a similar scene during our Seder-Pesach this year, Mika with both: Rotem and Yael.

After I had - while walking Nella- searched twice for mulberry trees, and not found trees with accessible branches,
Efrat got info from her neighbor about a veritable g r o u p  of trees, only 10 minutes away from their house!
Men and women were not only plucking leaves for their kids' hobby, but also fruits for eating or making jam.
I felt grateful towards the people in the municipality, who had had this clever idea, to plant mulberry trees!
Shoham, after all, is a young town, founded only in 1993...

May 29, 2011, 7:45 AM, before my return to Arad

"Savta, come up to me, I want you to hear (from the CD directly) , what I sang yesterday!"
We had been sitting on our tower in the park, when I recorded her singing of songs from a show.
I also let her hear Rita's song, which I had recorded from another CD of Mika's, in order to learn it.
While I had had such difficulties to get tune and lyrics into my head, Mika simply "knew" it.
When we sang together, she "of course" corrected my wording several times....

"I, too, shall be star, I too will be great in something. ....
Everyone loves me, for I am France and France is me.
Mon amour, mon cheri..."
Multi-tasking: singing is not enough, - at the same time she also has to draw and to cut out drawings..
