1978: was written for Ido, his newly born son,
and - more publicly - to mark the Israel-Egypt Peace Process
Hitman later dedicated "Noladati Lashalom,"
to Egyptian President Anwar Sadat,
the first Arab leader to sign a peace agreement with Israel.

The author of
the Arabic lyrics
is not known to me,
nor the author of the
adaptation of tune
nor the identity
of the performer.
On 2010_03_09
I discovered
a performance by Hitman himself

the 3rd and 4th line are different
The second stanza is in Arabic,
but to my regret
I cannot understand it correctly,
nor sing the oriental version of the tune.
