  to help me and my potential P E E R s

"to HEAL ourselves into WHOLEness,

and - by extension - all of CREATion!"

I focus my experiencing and awareness on being
"a   pioneer of  Evolution  in  learning  to  feel":
I let my Body vibrate and my Heart 'womb'

pain, shame, fear, boredom, powerlessness,
so feelings can >heal >guide>fulfill
>evolve,
and ~~~ offer ~~~"goldmines"~~~ to us all!!
"I want you to feel everything, every little thing!"

InteGRATion into GRATeFULLness
Singing&Sounding keeps me Sound

I called this page "Problematic Songs",
but now, in November 2011, there is a song,
which is most relevant for our time,
both in content and in the way it was created and sung around the World.
See part of the composition, which I sculpted on November 4, 2011, "by chance" a most significant date in my life,
and listen to the song, as I arranged it - with incredible effort - so it can be sung a-cappella by everyone

Listen also to ~~~ and dance with the Israeli song: "Welcome Peace"
"all the names, all the faces, all the states, all the neighbors"

I look at the intensity of pain in this singer's face,
which is interspersed in the 4,5 minutes video often ,
but at the end the face of his guitarist [next page]
is like the sun bursting through the clouds.

embrace you

Back to "Problematic Songs", which also includes the seemingly !!!similar "Imagine" by John Lennon.

2007_12_27

Not only Christian Hymns are no longer part of my active repertoire.
There are some beautiful songs, both in Hebrew and in English,
which I can no longer sing, since I cannot identify with their lyrics

"Praised be the match that burns while kindling flames"

When Rafael Rosenzweig taught a course in Hebrew
at the University of Tuebingen in April 1962,
and I was his assistant,
he brought this song of heroine Hanna Senezs into class.
Nothing could have been more appropriate for my heart
at that time...

The tune, -a video on the Arab-clip site -
is not the one Rafael taught us.

Though I no longer want to sing a song,
which teaches self-sacrifice,

it deserves to be remembered in my 2007 Song-Game

"Jerusalem of Gold"

It is called the second national anthem of Israel.
I remember it all too well-
how even I sang it with enthusiasm after the 1967 war.

But when the triumph of survival
was turned into occupation etc. etc. etc.,
I could no longer enjoy the song.
When now searching for MP3 clips on the Internet,
I hit at an Arab site....

Among other clips it's there
where Ofra Haza's performance can be found!

Elsewhere I found the video
with the original performance of Shuli Natan 1967

The Israeli website "GoodNews"
informed us today,

that artists will make
a six day journey
through Jerusalem,
to show,
what the liberation of Jerusalem
really means,
and liberation from what.

"All the world is a very small bridge,
and the main thing is - not to be afraid at all",

This sentence (song?) of Rabbi Nachman of Breszlav
is very popular even among secular Israelis.
I believe ~~~~I know ~~~ that this world is not a bridge,
but the place and space, on which we have to create "Heaven on Earth".
And the "encouragement" "not to be afraid at all"
is so often a way of denying fear and feelings altogether.
What we have to learn is how to cope with fear,
and how to turn the fearful into the fruitful.

In my youth
I was very fond of negro spirituals,
but the pain of victimhood is felt even in the song
"before I'd be a slave".

There was comfort
in those songs,
and not only
for the physical slaves
in America,
but now we need
the spirit
of self-determination.
We are in the process
of learning
to be masters of our lives.

Imagine~~~Imagine~~~Imagine
[first inserted on June 6, 2007-together with the performance of Achinoam Nini in Rome, a year after 9/11, in 2002]

Of course, I've nothing against dreaming about peace,
and I appreciate the fact, that there is a song,
which lets people feel, that they want peace.
But the very fact, that John Lennon,
like Ghandi, like Martin Luther King,
like Anwar Sadaat, like Yitchak Rabin,
and yesterday - December 26, 2007 - the Pakistan Benazir Bhutto,

let themselves be murdered like Jesus,
is one of many signs,
why dreaming is simply pathetic.

Healing and understanding the causes for non-peace
is needed,
and not only on the exterior, political, social, cultural level
(see my "Partnership" work in the Seventies,
and my Desert Peace Economy Vision until Jan. 2006,
but in every single soul, heart, mind and body!

See a list of all the videos with Yoko Ono
– what pressure this woman must experience,
and she is always with sun-glasses!

The "Imagining Peace" Tower
is a Conceptual Art work built by Yoko Ono in Reykjavik, Iceland,
to celebrate their Love and John's vision for a World
where all could live "as one" and in peace.
In this video, Yoko explains her original idea for the tower,
and how John asked her to build it.

Even the Presidential Candidate for the USA, Dennis Kucinich,
talks about the idea behind the "Imagine Peace" Tower
which Yoko Ono unveiled on Lennon's birthday, Oct. 9, 2007.

Imagine

Imagine there's no Heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

Shalom Ima,

Saw this while spending a terrific weekend in New Zealand.

Will share more pictures when I return (slow internet here).

Micha

Thank you, Micha, for sharing your joy with me!
And this after I had copied a letter to my mother, written in 1970,
in which I tell about your almost-Meningitis
and the immense pain you had to suffer.
and the fact, that
"when he needed me most, I was not allowed to be with him".
Visits were permitted only between 1:30 and 6:30.
I left your siblings alone at home in order to be with you, - just imagine...

May you enjoy every detail of beauty around you.
When we were in the Alps in 1974
and someone complained about the grey sky, you said seriously:

"the fact, that the sun cannot be seen, does not mean, that it isn't there..."

Imma
