I focus my experiencing and awareness on being
"a   pioneer of  Evolution  in  learning  to  feel":
I let my Body vibrate and my Heart 'womb'

pain, shame, fear, boredom, powerlessness,
so feelings can >heal >guide>fulfill
>evolve,
and ~~~ offer ~~~"goldmines"~~~ to us all!!
"I want you to feel everything, every little thing!"

hodayot [thanksgivings] for today

10:19
My Body, my Partner, my God
I give thanks to all those parts and functions,
which let us sleep and rest and digest our experiences so well
(at least in Arad, in my quiet "Almond" neighborhood)
while taking care of all the automatic functions
which keep us alive!

I give thanks for the consoling inspiration,
which penetrated me in yesterday's
communication with Deity
combined with a threefold synchronicity
concerning the prophet Dvorah Ilan, alias Wardit Bar-Ilan.
[See also January 9, the info about her site which suddenly reached me!]

A little understanding in a swamp of unawareness and stupidity

In the usual weekend loop of the Israeli educational channel 23
almost 2 hours followed the path of Daniel Barenboim's endeavor
to light a candle in the Jewish-Palestinian darkness.
His closest friend and partner
in his "West-Eastern Divan" workshop and orchestra
was the Lebanese Edward Said, but he died in 2002,
three years after Daniel and Said had founded that project.
The movie was interspersed by many interviews with the young musicians,
who play together in Barenboim's orchestra,
which dared to appear even in Ramallah (in 2005).
This young woman from Ramallah was the one who touched me most.
On the picture which I caught by chance, she says:

"We have to break the wall which is in our thought."
Later in the movie we saw the catastrophic wall built through Ramallah...

What was attracting me to follow this movie to the end (published in 2006),
were the rare , oh so rare understandings about the roots of the "conflict",
voiced by Barenboim, though not emphasized enough in the documentary:
"You have to give content to their lives!
If a few young people practise playing the violin for an hour per day,
then during this hour they will not think of violence,
but if they have nothing to live for, why shouldn't they kill and die?"

And during the moving interactions with his young musicians after a concert:
"For a little while their self-esteem rose,
this makes them open to see the other side."

Self-esteem and Full-fill-ment,
in addition to knowing that I'm never a victim,
but forever the producer, director and actor of my drama,
these are the conditions for exterior peace.

I am grate-full to Daniel Barenboim and Eduard Said, who surely is still around !

Daniel and Eduard Said

Give Music a chance
I couldn't find out, what happened to Barenboim's activities since 2005
except that the Orchestra has been awarded
the Praemium Imperiale Grant for Young Artists in 2007

Finetuning to my Present

Continuation of The "Orange Cellphone Drama" on February 13

It was 11:45 and I had to part from the hill,
its meadows and flowers, its shrubs and boulders.
While climbing down I took three pictures.
When looking at the buildings, the view seems to be the same,
but when looking at the foreground, its always different.

Finally I am called to hear the result of the lab check:

See the shade of the shrub to the left , see the lichen on the rocks, see the "rakafot", the primroses in the middle:

See the "kalanit", the anemone, see the dry stalks, see the boulder

See the hill in the background to the left, which opens yet another perspective from and on the "Yishpro Center"

The time has come for coping with my insecurity towards the people in this shop.

"The Future sounds orange" screams the ad above the shop, where people wait like me.

I hurry down some steps, taking a picture which contrasts the name"Yishpro-Center" against the sky,
and when I come back, people already entered.

I have to explain my problem to three different people.
Finally my cellphone is taken to the lab,
which is behind the desks,
behind glass ! - transparent for all to see!

"It will take an hour", I'm told,
and somebody helps me to pour myself a cup of coffee,
since I - with my phobia of automats - always make some mistake.
I sit at a table and open the book, which Efrat had received by mail before I left:
"It comes from love - Mika's first year",
a book, which she has created herself - from all the photos on the computer

Suddenly I remember, that I promised Immanuel to buy a battery for his cellphone.
I go to the desk:
"We don't sell them, go over there to the man who markets them."
The distributer does not have this battery:
"Cross the road to the Super-Pharm and ask!"
I discover the Super-Pharm around the right corner of that huge building with the "Yishpro" ad.
But there are so many doors and windows of glass (!!), that I can't find the entry.
And this is what I observed on this day concerning doors in new architecture (in Israel?):
Probably "for security reasons" --- in this vast front there is just one door - hidden.

And by the way: the Super Pharm distributor of Orange did not have that battery either....

I came back just in time, to find protection under the roofed front of "Orange" and its neighbors.
[See the connection of "Orange" and rain also on February 26 in Arad...]

RAIN

Rain is so rare in my life,

and even rarer
is the opportunity
to watch it from a dry place,

that I exuberantly
took pictures,
one after the other,

thus imprinting
this Commercial Center
in my memory
even more.

[I already said:
I detest
Malls and the like]

a car in bright red,

a car in dark red

in the middle
across the parking lot
the red sign of
"Home Center"

and above all,
to the very left above
the sign of

ONE

Enormous bulging clouds and filigran branches of trees above cars and ads and buildings :
thus the Commercial Center becomes bearable even for me...

I asked the guard: "Doesn't the opening and closing of this terrible door madden you?"
"It does! I hope, it will soon break apart, and then they will exchange it!"

I'm always pitying guards...

I also turned to another man, who seemed to be bored:
"Forgive me for laughing about "Orange":
I come here all the way from Shoham and ask for a battery at three of your places, and nobody has one!"

He wasn't laughing, ran behind the scenes and came back with a long face:
"I'm really sorry, there is none, this shouldn't happen!"

'together'
'discover'

"Orange" , indeed, exposes some secrets of the future!
But what about its 'wholeness'?

A child and a frog on a pond - orangeway- and Alexander Graham Bell
and the two men who have to deal with a self-determined customer, ME!

Finally I am called to hear the result of the lab check:
Avi - standing to the right and sitting to the left in the photos above-
is the one with whom I have to cope now.
If only Efrat were here, and I could hide behind her.
But that was exactly the point of her absence.
This time I had to stand up for myself:

Avi:
"We discovered that it's the carrier (or "socket"?) of the memory card,
which is broken.
You'll either need to pay 600 NIS or live without the card."

Rachel:
(laughing hilariously)
" 600 NIS? I bought this phone in August 2007 for 1100 NIs!
what about the guarantee?"

Avi:
"Only mechanical and electronic faults are included, not technical faults!"

Rachel (laughs even more):
"A broken socket then is not a technical fault?
Maybe you differentiate between faulty functions and faulty material ?"

Avi:
"You said it well!"

Rachel (encouraged, self-determined, as if Efrat was talking through her):
"I want this in writing!"

Avi goes to the manager,
talks to him under a quote of Alexander Graham Bell:

Alex, the manager, brings me the text of the guarantee.
I demand that he read it aloud.
He reached the sentence which said,
that "Orange" is not responsible if something is broken,
for it might be broken by the fault of the owner of the device.

I became cynical..

But now - 20:42 - I do not want to go on with this report.
So many more things were said by me and by Alex and Avi,
it would be boring to repeat them here.
More important: I feel I'm bragging and putting these men down.
I did it there, for sure,
for how can I prove that I'm right without making the other wrong?
And why does "Orange" try to defeat ignorant and insecure customers?
For this is what Efrat told me later,
that she had seen a doc about the methods of such corporations,
and she told her own experience with "Cellcom".
The employees are instructed to make the customer wrong.
And only when the customer does not give in,
they "remember" the code of fairness.

While I kept negotiating with Avi and Alex,
asking them to forget about their loyalty to "Orange" for a moment,
and simply admit that my view of matters was logical,
suddenly everything changed:
Avi got a phonecall, or so it seemed, and said:

"We'll exchange your phone, "Orange" will absorb the loss."
At the same time a man came around and handed me a battery:
"In addition you'll get the battery you wanted - for free.
After all - we "Orange" are be-seder, alright"!

I couldn't hide my joy,
the more so when they brought the new phone with the old memory-card:
including those photos with Tomer in the desert, which I thought were lost,

I was proud of myself,
I had not victimized myself,
I had stood up to that Corporation.
I was not glad, that my victory was at the expense of Alex and Avi.
I do hope, it did not hurt their self-esteem.

With phone-camera-player-recorder intact + the battery for Immanuel
I walked over to "my" car,
managed alright with the code which opens the lock of the key,
and started to drive home.
When I came out of the Yishpro area, I stopped, left the car open
and made this photo to document that I felt "victorious".
The sky collaborated by being glorious,
and I drove back towards Modi'in, slowly, delighting in everything I saw.

I never saw Modi'in with its two landmarks from this perspective - the twin towers to the left and the round gorgeous building in front of me.

Here I've returned to the familiar road Modi'in-Latrun, Latrun-Modi'in, with the twin towers before me.
Soon I'll have to turn left and find my way through the maze of construction sites
- the future railway station inside the town , for instance,
and then west and later north - the close encounter with the Swiss aeroplane, about which I told already
and the amazing sight of the western outskirts of Shoham.

Everything was amazing on that day -
my journey outside and inside under the spectacle of clouds and light in the sky....
