I focus my experiencing and awareness on being
"a   pioneer of  Evolution  in  learning  to  feel":
I let my Body vibrate and my Heart 'womb'

pain, shame, fear, boredom, powerlessness,
so feelings can >heal >guide>fulfill
and ~~~ offer ~~~"goldmines"~~~ to us all!!
"I want you to feel everything, every little thing!"

I'll give in the desert (trees): cedar, myrtle, oil-tree

and nine other magnificent prophecies

Isaiah 41:19
unknown to me

These trees play a role
not only in another prophecy about the future

but in a very practical command in Nehemia's time
to gather leaves from those trees, bring them to Jerusalem
and celebrate the Succot Festival with them:

I will give in the desert
cedar ande acacia, myrtle and oil-tree.
I will set cypress in the wasteland,
tidhar (?) and ta'ashur (?) together.

From an essay about people who tried to realize this prophecy in our time:

Three Prophecies
September 2010

A song of Joy about that time...

From K.i.s.s.-log May 8, 2008 (Day of Independence)
"I am grate-full for the theme
which was chosen for this Independence Day:
based on the prophecy in Zecharia 8:4,5 +13
a verse to which I'm finally adding a tune:

Listen to the song of the first stanza
on another prophecy song page
On September 13, 2010
I suddenly felt I should adapt this tune
to a second stanza
which would finally make my most quoted prophecy singable!
It appears at the end of the 15 books of Prophets,
which - in all Christian editions of "The Bible" -
is also the end of the "Old Testament"...

Maleachi 3 end

Towards the end of September 2010
I came across a verse from
Isaiah 44
which clearly fitted the same tune,
and demanded the same chorus!

The prophecy,
if understood literally, geographically
seems to support
the infamous "settlers" of the Westbank
but the chorus defies such interpretation:
ye shall be a blessing for the nations!

ve-heshiv lev avot al banim ve-lev banim al avotam

First stanza
Zecharia 8:4,5 +13
There shall yet old men and old women
sit in the broad places of Jerusalem,
every man with his staff in his hand for very age
And the broad places of the city
shall be full of boys and girls
playing in the broad places thereof
And it shall come to pass that,
as ye were a curse among the nations,
... so will I save you
and ye shall be a blessing;
fear not, but let your hands be strong.

Second stanza Maleachi 3 end
Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet ...
And he shall turn the heart of the fathers
to the children,
and the heart of the children to their fathers

Third stanza Isaiah 44:26
that saith of Jerusalem: 'She shall be inhabited';
and of the cities of Judah: 'They shall be built,
and I will raise up the waste places thereof'.

First stanza
Zecharia 8:4,5 +13

Second stanza
Maleachi 3 end

Third stanza
Isaiah 44:26

"Yom Qtanot- the day of small things" and two other Prophecies
October 2010

Out of Zion shall go forth torah...
and they will not learn war anymore

Isaiah 2:3-4

Those who pass through the valley of crying,
will make it into a fountain

[my own interpretation and translation!]
Psalm 84:7 [see context in my life in Learn&Live >2010_10_10]

"For whoever has despised (or "despises")
the day of small (things)
, yom qtanot,
shall rejoice and shall see!"

Zecharia 4:10
[See context in "My Ordeal", Sept. 27, 2010]
and see the hope for a full-fill-ment on Oct. 17, 2010 at the end of Learn&Live II.

On March 21-23, 2013 the last stanza attracted an imperative
"let's not despise the day of small things",
after I heard someone - in a talkshow about Obama's visit to Israel -
using this verse as if it was part of the daily language:

"let's not despise the day of small things"
I don't remember, to what he referred,
but what I refer to, is the 21st of December 2012,
a date towards which so many people yearned for a visible, tangible "shift"

Let's not despise the day of small (things) and let us rejoice and let us see

While [Sept. 27, 2010] I was so moved by the re-discovery of
"ki mi baz
le-yom qtanot"
I happened to hitchhike with this girl
and her dog "Baz" meaning: "falcon"!

A Prophecy about a New Biosphere:
a video about "7 minutes of cuteness", put on facebook by Elah, my granddaughter on March 1, 2013

And in that day will I make a covenant for them
with the beasts of the field,
and with the fowls of heaven,
and with the creeping things of the ground;
and I will break the bow and the sword
and the battle out of the land,
and will make them to lie down safely

[Hosea 2:20)

I was rehearsing this song on the way to the pool,
and there, when passing by a huge garbage-bin,

I saw a pretty scene:
one dog
two cats
two ravens
sitting together in harmony,

attracted obviously by a delicious smell from the bin,
frustrated perhaps,
because the bin was unaccessable for them.

I didn't have a camera or cellphone with me,
so I did what is impossible considering my lack of talent:
I sketched the scene...

But see now - on November 4, 2010,
exactly 50 years since the merging of a German and a Jew,
the 4 images about "a covenant"
between 4 chittahs and a young impala...

See a similar prophecy about the end of all War in Psalm 46,
quoted in K.i.s.s.-log 2011_08_11

Franz' and Gritli's Psalm 46
which was so meaningful for both,
in the face of Germany's collapse in Nov. 1918

I discovered a similar verse and discerned for the first time,
that the root "k-r-t" produced two sharply contradicting meanings:
"to cut off"
and from there "to exterminate"       versus:
"to sign a pact, to make a covenant"[as in the prophecy of Hosea ] .
At the same occasion, when I read the verse that precedes this one'
about the Messiah (as Christians understand "thy king, lowly and riding"),
who rides on an ass and on the foal of the son of asses [asses , not ass!]

I thought, was there a symbol in the fact, that when I asked for a donkey,
a wild foal and two pregnant females were forced on me in the Succah?
see about Yishmael, Bilhah and Zilpah in Succah-in-the-Desert
August 7,

And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim,
and the horse from Jerusalem,
and the bow of war shall be cut off
and he shall speak peace unto the nations

January 2, 2011
Another prophecy about a new Biosphere

the wolf will dwell with the sheep

the beginning of the tune is a plagiary of a recent song about "the joy that forgot its cause"

I owe this song to myself! How?
Recently I started to read the book, which I've written almost 40 years ago,
though it was edited only 30 years ago:
the jewels of interpretations, which I picked out from the mostly technical work of translation,
done by Martin Buber and Franz Rosenzweig, my father-in-law,
who died 9 years before I was born.
I owe my deep love for the Hebrew Bible to those two men,
who, just before the eruption of the Nazi epidemy,
gave Germany a gift, of which Germany is not aware until this day:
The Book of Books translated in a way, that goes to the root of the Biblical way
to transmit messages - through stories, figures, poems and words - that help us to live.

Since I'm opening the book before sleep randomly,
it so happened, that I came across the last page of the manuscript
which I uncovered in the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in the early seventies.
My comment to Isaiah 65:25b surprised me: how could I have forgotten this?
Immediately the desire arose to merge Is. 11 and Is. 65 into one sung message!

Once the song was singable, I was even more surprised, that I understand part of the lines of Is. 65 by contrast to B-R!
And this despite the fact, that this was the very last passage, to which my father-in-law related, before he died.
"Relating" meant: having his wife looking into his eyes, guessing a letter, composing words and sentences and dictating those to a secretary!
HOW come, that these great men missed the magnificent metaphor of "like water covering the sea", by saying "sea-bed"?

Whatever "jewels" I chose- they needed immense editing and commenting.
But rarely did I add a comment of mine that surpassed my task - as this one:
"Buber's proposal for Isaiah 65, 25
nicht werden sie Boeses verueben -
nicht werden etwas verderben
auf all dem Berg meines Heiligtums

[usual English translation: They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain
My comment: This passage from the so-called Trito-Isaiah (called "Collection of speeches by B-R),
partly contains verbal quotes from the book of the first Isaiah, chapter 11.The 3 lines are from Is. 11:9,
except that there the sentence has a continuation:

[my translation of B-R's wording]
for the earth is full
of MY knowing,
like water [plural] cover the bed of the ocean.

I always say, that in MY future creation
there won't be that horrid phenomenon,
that animals need to feed on animals!
Up to this day humans kill and eat animals,
and some people are sad about that!
But who doubts the rightness of the "law,
that animals kill animals for food,
and are in turn killed for food by other animals?

I'm not the first one to envision such a creation,
in which animals live together.
But only recently I became of a significant fact:
The famous passage about the wolf who will dwell with the sheep
is not the only one.
First of all,
how come that this outrageous prophecy
about a new creation with different laws
appears not in the second and third Isaiah,
with their mostly idyllic prophecies about a new heaven and a new earth,
but in the first Isaiah, who usually smashes people with terrible "doom"?
It does appear a second time, much more concise, in the third Isaiah!
But what's missing there is the condition for all this harmony to occur:
that the knowing of YHWH, will fill the planet,
"like the waters which cover the ocean!"
What a pretty metaphor for saying:
just as the water and the ocean are the same ,
we are ONE, we are just aspects of the ONE,
rays of the Sun, waves of the Ocean, colors of the Light.
Once this awareness, this consciousness will permeate us,
no "God" will eat another "God" or be eaten by another "God".
The double prophecy even mentions the alternative for food:
"the lion like the cattle will eat plants!"
Isn't this fantastic?
A prophecy, voiced 2800 years ago,
and of course in line with the biblical myth,
that only after the Flood people were allowed to eat animals,
and even then under one condition, that their blood would not be eaten,
so as as to make people aware, every time they would slaugther,
that "it was not meant to be like that, even if for now we don't have an alternative!"
By the way, all the laws of "kosher" eating have the same purpose,
to make people aware,
that something is not right with eating animals, our divine kin!

I'm frustrated with the English translation,
but I won't bother to correct it.

And the wolf shall dwell with the lamb,
and the leopard shall lie down with the kid;
and the calf and the young lion ... together;
and a little child shall lead them.

7 And the cow and the bear shall feed;
their young ones shall lie down together;
and the lion shall eat straw like the ox

for the earth shall be full
of the knowledge of the LORD,
as the waters cover the sea.

Isaiah 11:6-9

The wolf and the lamb shall feed together,
and the lion shall eat straw like the ox; ...
They shall not hurt nor destroy
in all My holy mountain

Isaiah 65:25

This time I'm learning from B-R's translation by CONTRAST!
Dann gasted der Wolf beim Lamm,
{if you here translate "kaeves" as "lamb,
you won't have a word for the real lamb - talaeh - in Isaiah 65~!]

der Pardel lagert beim Boecklein,
Kalb und Jungleu ... sind vereint ,
ein kleiner Knabe treibt sie einher,
Kuh und Baerin sind Weidegenossen
[why this noun? it's the same verb as in Is. 65:25,
why not simply: "cow and bear are grazing"
ihre Jungen lagern mitsammen [vereint!]
[you should use the same word for "yakhdav" as above,
though both words are correct:
vereint and mitsammen.
Loewe frisst Stroh wie ein Rind (das Rind!)
[the order of the words should be as in the original:)
"Loewe wie das Rind frisst Stroh"
denn die Erde ist voll
SEINER Erkenntnis,
wie Wasser, die das Meerbett bedecken
(no! this ruins the metaphor! Stick to the original:
wie Wasser, die Meer bedecken!)
Jeschajahu 11:6-9

Wolf und Lamm weiden wie eins,
der Loewe frisst Haecksel wie das Rind
("teven" can also be "Haecksel",
but why translate the word differently than in Isaiah 11?

nicht uebt man mehr Boeses,
nicht wirkt man Verderb:
auf all dem Berg meines Heiligtums,
Jeschajahu 65:25

Wikipedia: The Book of Isaiah
...The book has 66 chapters:
the first 39 chapters prophesy doom for a sinful Judah
and for all the nations of the world that oppose God,
while the last 27 prophesy the restoration of the nation of Israel
and a new creation in God's glorious future kingdom

Tradition ascribes the book to Isaiah himself,
but for over a hundred years scholars have divided it into three parts:
Proto-Isaiah (chapters 1-39),
containing the words of the 8th century BCE prophet
and 7th century BCE expansions;
Deutero-Isaiah (chapters 40-55), a 6th century BCE work
by an author who wrote under the Babylonian captivity;
and Trito-Isaiah (chapters 56-66),
composed probably by multiple authors in Jerusalem shortly after the exile

June-July, 2011

On July 6, 2011
"A Star is born" was with Idan Reichl,
and the duo Nadav and Asaf sang a song,
which moved me deeply,
though its content is the opposite of something
which I can "celebrate as right in the world":
"Imma, Abba and all the rest",
lyrics by Reuben Politi,
who describes the feelings of a soldier "out there".
He fell in the Yom Kippur War 1973.
I do not want to learn to sing it,
but to insert it here as a contrast to the song "If"

"IF" -
Two popular Israeli authors created a song
which ends with the prophecy
about "wolf and lamb"

lyrics: Yankele Rothbluet
tune: Shmulik Kraus
[died now - in Febr. 2013]
sung by Lidor Sultan, a 17 year old boy
in "A Star is Born" on June 8, 2011

listen to my own - somewhat poor , but clear singing
on July 19, 2011

As to the chorus: "she is not in heaven",
see the original in Deuteronomy 30:12
As to the myth, that Abraham had 2 sons,
see my sculpture about Hagar and Ismael

notes to left frame:

Idan Reichl sings:
"We aren't heroes, for our metier is black,
The sun will set, the gloom will come,
and then we'll sleep in bed in our clothes,
yes, Imma, that's important,
that's difficult and that's terrible"

The next morning I was guided to the page:
Closeup of 2007-1947
I re-read the short story of the German Hans Bender
about a "bread-fetcher" in a Russian Prisoners of War camp,
and the difference between "normal" and "priviledged" prisoners.
There I came across the same image
which appears in "We aren't heroes":
Norbert said: "One should live in a head-room.
There they have a table, a stove, a bed,
and when they go to sleep,
they can undress their jackets and trousers."

January 20, 2011

A paradoxical, contradictory, antithetic prophecy,
put into tune for a second time on January 19, 2011 [see context]

14 I have long time held My peace,
I have been still, and refrained Myself;
as a travailing woman I will cry,
gasping and panting at once.
15 I will make waste mountains and hills,
and dry up all their herbs;
and I will make the rivers islands,
and will dry up pools
16 And I will lead the blind by a way that they knew not,
in paths that they knew not will I guide them;
I will make darkness light before them, and rugged places plain.

18 Hear, ye deaf, and look, ye blind, that ye may see.
19 Who is blind, but My servant?
Or deaf, as My messenger that I send?

Isaiah 42:14-19, with some moderations of the bi-lingual online translation of Isaiah 42

The first line
is composed
of 13 syllables
and so is the
second line.

The translators
who could
think only
in linear time,
the first line
to the past,
and the second
to the present.

But they have
no solution
for the other

The tune of the first two lines are a plagiary from the introduction to"So Far"
the most famous song of the band "Ha-Banot Nehama"["The Comfort Girls"],
After Ayelet's celebration on Dec. 27, 2010, I stayed overnight with her family
and the next morning Arnon, her brother, wanted to spend time with me.
I also listened to his learning to accompany songs on his keyboard piano.
It was Arnon, who, some years ago, made me aware of the Benot Nehama.
The song, which he now played, began with a tune, which touched me deeply.
[See a continuation of this playing in Learn&Live16: >2011_01_28]
I asked him to let me record just this line on my digital recorder.
From then on I looked for a text which would fit it,
and lo - the verse about God as a woman-in-labor,
which had been waiting for a tune for many years -
a text of 13 syllables - fitted this tune exactly.
It took some time of letting this tune and this line imprint themselves in my brains,
and only then did I see the line, which preceded this one, also composed of 13 syllables.
And only after this double line - in tune with the intro of "So far" - was ingrained in me,
did the rest of the - selected - prophecy find its tune too.
