I focus my experiencing and awareness on being
"a   pioneer of  Evolution  in  learning  to  feel":
I let my Body vibrate and my Heart 'womb'

pain, shame, fear, boredom, powerlessness,
so feelings can >heal >guide>fulfill
>evolve,
and ~~~ offer ~~~"goldmines"~~~ to us all!!
"I want you to feel everything, every little thing!"

Songs for Mika and for all grandchildren
following the song which gave her her name:
Mika boi el beiti
- Mika, come to my house
and to which she listened from her parents' mouth and her father's guitar
from her very first day on December 20, 2005

I've moved the song to another page!]

Mika's Second Birthday: 2007

22 Words about Mika

2007_12_20

lyrics:
Grandma
Christa-Rachel Bat-Adam,

The original German text tells of weakness and dependency
Mika - 2 years today - keeps showing me the opposite:
Power, Self-Acceptance, Self-Love,
Knowing What She Wants in Every Moment,
Realizing , Doing - with Zest and Brains.

The first song I heard Mika singing,
with her still faint voice,
was Lea Goldberg's song about the Hyazinth,
a sweet lullaby,

which I used to sing already at my children's beds.
"Has she ever seen a Yakinton?"
I asked her mother then,
when she could hardly pronounce a word correctly.

"No!"
"Not even a picture in a book or on a DVD?"
"I don't think so!"

Since she is such a fan of flowers and leaves anyway,
I thought of a birthday present
unusual for a two year old girl.
It was a bit early for a hyazinth to blossom,
but Ra'ayah, my other daughter-in-love,
found and bought it for me,
when she was on her way back from Kibbutz Sa'ad,
in which she was born
and where still part of her big family lives.
When she looked at the sign in the pot, she realized,
that this hyazinth had been grown at Sa'ad...

A little song for every day

lyrics and tune:
Grandma Christa-Rachel Bat-Adam
[the third line was added later]

Shalom, shalom, shalom, shalom

Auf Wiedersehn (au revoir, see you)

calendulas , anemones

I walked Nella, the dog,
so Immanuel, back from flight since last night,
could spend more time with wife and daughter.
At 8 o'clock Efrat left
to bring Mika to kindergarden and herself to work,
and I accompanied them to the elevator,
performing the usual dance together in front of it,
singing:

"Shalom, shalom, shalom shalom"
or
"le-hitra'ot, le-hitra'ot"
[meaning "to see each other", Hebrew for
"Auf Wiedersehn", "Au revoir", "See you"],

a tune I made with all the 8 tones of an octave in it.

[the photos were taken in August 2007,
when Mika could barely say: "malit" "ma'alit"-elevator

Mika's Third Birthday: 2008

Mika's third birthday - December 20, 2008

Y O U

Mika you are a star that's born
The world opens slowly-slowly
to your seeing eyes,
to your hearing ears.
"I have a big heart", you say,
love, compassion you guard
for every human, creature,
the light of a star you radiate.

Yael, with her clarinet, plays
and Arnon sings
my tune, improved by Arnon.

Ayelet and Itamar sing their own tune,
with an addition of 4 lines:

Mika you are a good friend,
Mika you are a wonderful cousin,
Mika you are always in our head,
celebrating today that you are three.

"I have a big heart", you say,
this is based on what Mika used to say, ever since the age of 2
whenever the last line of this little song was sung:

In the mouth is a tongue,
in the eye is a pupil

in the head is a brain
in the hand is strength

in the body is a heart
which loves

The duet of Arnon and Yael,
which they played for my 70th birthday,
and the lyrics with which I was inspired,
and which turned this tune
from my own childhood
into a song for Mika and all my grandchildren.
[It is now - December 2009 - that Mika learns the Hebrew letters
with great excitement and delight!]

May 20, 2014: an additional stanza:

The [present] 21 actors in my life's drama:
Mika-Tomer-Rotem-Itamar-Yael,
Alon-Arnon-Ayelet-Elah ve-Yonathan!

Uri-Tzippi-Micha-Efrat-Immanuel,
Ronnit-Itai-Yanina-Lior-Tal-Ra'ayah.

Mika's Fourth Birthday: 2009

2009_12_20

lyrics
Grandma Christa-Rachel Bat-Adam
on the base of Mika's wishes
for this year's birthday song
tune:
a Traditional Irish tune,
shown to me by Tomer, Mika's step-brother.
The tune touched me so much,
that Tomer put it as ringtone on my cellphone,

see the "mirror princess" in Mika's "Heaven-on-Earth"
on October 14, 2009
and the "fairy princess" on Nov. 5, 2009

Mika's Dream and Prayer

God who is in heaven
waits until I'll will grow
a princess then will float from the water -
and ride like a dolphin on a wave
directly into the King's palace
and climb straight up to a tower
and radiate love on the Earth
and on the Heaven above.

In the sky there appears the moon,
rolling slowly like a wheel
and with dawn it will set - with joy,
for having been granted to give light from above,
The sun will rise in the east,
and it too will be rolling like a wheel,
the princess will bless the Earth,
that forever they'll light her from above.

On July 6, 2010 - during my 2 weeks in Ireland this summer
- mostly on the two most south-western peninsulas Mizen Head and Sheeps Head -
I chose - only for half a day - to also visit a town, the little town Bantry.
Just when I arrived and before the never-ending rain began to wet and wear me down,
I heard that Irish tune - the tune of Mika's song - from a loudspeaker outside a shop...

Listen to Mika's testing of my new digital recorder, which includes this song,
and listen to her extremely funny version of this song in August 4, 2010

Song for Mika's fifth birthday, December 20, 2010

2010_12_20

The Song of the Micas
created itself crystal by crystal
through many weeks
See about my first encounter
with the meaning of "Mica".
See about my difficult experiences
with this creation...
tune: a song performed on the streets
of Saintes Maries de la Mere, in Southern France
during the Gipsies' Festival in May 2001.
I recorded it there with my walkman,
When I "by chance" listened to that old casette 2 months ago,
I became inspired with the lyrics
about the scientific and mystical values of the "mica crystals"
