Victor Barr, Sharon and their nine months old son brought to me
Jeanne White Eagle and John Pehrson and their CD. Victor had met me only once in Succah
in the Desert, 11 years ago.
How did they know of my search for "sound singing and sounding"?
We stood in a circle and sang and the harmony was miraculous.
Just vowels, no words, just sounding, no coherent melody.
I remembered, that we had made some steps in this direction:
We = our team in 1993, on guest-less winter evenings in the Succah!
Before we parted, we sang once more, and I recorded the 70 seconds.

We know that when the thinking mind seems to go berserk
and gets stuck in chaos
(the media and the economic situation being predominant catalysts for chaos), singing a spontaneous song,
creating from your own heart and psyche a song without words
but with sounds that come from the un-thinking space,
is a good thing to do.
Something occurs that is profound and can seem to be astounding, even strange,
at first.
All around you and within you finds order~~all finds a semblance of balance.
It is then that you can see more clearly, make choices from calmness rather
than fear.
Try it.

Ram Eisenberg stretched a cord over the wadi,
from the Angels' Flight to the hill on the other side.
The wind made it sing, the cord or the angel or both.
The sound over the wadi lived with us for half a year, until the winter storms tore it apart.

It's
useful to read, watch and listen,
but
it's delightful and healing
to tune into our sounding
with your own voice

is probably the easiest way to get started
if emotions are not triggered.
You can also establish a verbal connection,

by what I now - strangely only now! - learnt from
Sefer Yetzira [The book of Creation] ,
written probably a thousand and a hundred years ago.
...The twenty-two letters of the
Hebrew alphabet are classified both
with reference to the position of the vocal organs in producing the sounds,
and with regard to sonant intensity.
In contrast to the Jewish grammarians, who assumed a special mode of articulation
for each of the five groups of sounds,
the Sefer Yetzirah says that no sound can be produced without the tongue,
to which the other organs of speech merely lend assistance.
Hence the formation of the letters is described as follows:
With the tip of the tongue and
the throat
Between the lips and the tip of the tongue
In the middle of the tongue
By the tip of the tongue
By the tongue, which lies flat and stretched, and by the teeth (ii. 3)[5]
The letters are distinguished,
moreover, by the intensity of the sound necessary to produce them, and
are accordingly divided into:
Mutes, which are unaccompanied
by sound, such as Mem
Sibilants, such as Shin, which is therefore called the "hissing shin"
Aspirates, such as Aleph, which holds a position between the mutes and
sibilants, and is designated as the "airy Aleph, which holds the
balance in the middle" (iv. 1; in some eds. ii. 1)
Besides these three letters,
which are called "mothers," a distinction is also drawn between
the seven "double" letters, which have two different sounds
according to inflection, and the twelve "simple" letters, the
remaining characters of the alphabet which represent only one sound each.[5]

to sculpt the new site
in the "mode"
of a dialog with Deity.
As often in the last 10 years
I'm turning to "the Mother",
and, of course,
if I know how to ask,
I get a relevant answer.

that my connection
