A Composition of images with stepmother and stepson,
which give an idea about their relationship between 2000 and 2004
(I let Efrat decide- on which images she loved
herself and which she wanted to delete.
she promised not to damage the composition and accepted most of my
choices.
In November 2000 Immanuel bought his first
digital camera, and among the very first photos are these two:
An excursion with the children to Migdal
Tzedek , on Nov. 25, 2000, while Abba lived at Shoham
Kabbalat
Shabbat, April 2001, at Shoham
TIME-LINE
October 1999:
After his divorce Immanuel moved from
the Galilee to the new town Shoham
,
in order to be close to his children, who lived with his ex-wife
in the new town Modi'in.
November 1, 1999
I moved in with my son at Shoham, after
I could no longer get permission for parking my
bus anywhere.
March 13, 2000
I began to live at my Salt
Sea springs, while - by chance on the same day - Efrat
moved in with Immanuel at Shoham.
June 30, 2000
when the heat and the persecutions of the authorities put
an end to my living at the Dead Sea,
I again found refuge at Shoham.
November 4, 2000.
I began to live in my
pyramidal tent in my daughter's garden at Modi'in
June 12, 2001, I rented a flat at Modi'in,
paid partly by all 3 children, but mainly by Immanuel, since
he wanted to have a place where he could host his kids.
July 2001
Immanuel and Efrat moved back to the Galilee, to Kfar Vradim,
where formerly Immanuel had lived with his wife and children.
They came to my home at Modi'in often in order to see the
children,
but the children also came to visit them in the Galilee.
May 2002
Immanuel went to Detroit/Michigan in the USA because of a
job,
which was offered to him by an entrepreneur from Israel.
August 2002
Efrat and the children visited their father in the USA. The
expenses for this trip were part of his salary.
October 2002
Efrat moved to Detroit, where she and Immanuel married officially
in December.
Immanuel came to visit his children in Israel every 2 months.
November 2002,
The difficulties with Tomer at school became such,
that I began to function as a kind of foster-grandmother after
school, from 12:45 till 17:00.
March 2003
Tomer's mother decided "to send Tomer with his father
to the USA".
Even before Immanuel fetched Tomer, he was informed, that
the company could no longer hire him.
Tomer lived with his father and stepmother in USA for 3 months,
went to school and then enjoyed a trip to Canada.
July 2003
When they returned to Israel,
Immanuel and Efrat stayed with me at Modi'in, while Tomer
stayed with his mother close by.
August 2003
Immanuel, Efrat and Tomer moved to Kfar Vradim into a newly
rented flat,
and in September Tomer started school there..
September 2004,
2 weeks after the beginning of the school year
Tomer's mother, who had moved to Tel-Aviv - with Elah &
Alon, as well as with her partner and his children,
demanded Tomer "back".
Tomer left his father's home and his school at Kfar Vradim
and joined his mother and her family at Tel-Aviv.
