The Purpose  of   HEALING - K.i.s.s.
as stated 10 years ago - was and is
to help me and my potential PEERS

to HEAL ourselves
into WHOLEness,
and - as holograms -
all of Creation!

As the fruit of becoming whole = accepting all of myself,
I desire:
to live and explore and evolve Love  in my personal life
and to play my part in creating
the conditions for Heaven-on-Earth
by radiating grate-full-ness, zest-full-ness, full-fill-ment
on the actors in my individual life-drama
and on all human beings!

52 days of Moving and E-volving Emotions Manual - 32nd day, September 1, 2002

To loosen up my crazy concentration on scanning 150 photos
which survived the 1998 fire of my archive in the Succah after all,
the same kind of crazy concentration I needed
to repair the unwieldy material of the "Tent of Appointment",
torn by the winter storms 1992-3,

I vigorously slap my body ,
kneeling naked at the computer
because of the summer heat -

and roar like Tarzan

from the beginning of my 76th till the completion of my 90th year [unless I'll die after all]
The feeling chosen from a day is exhibited in max. 7 lines per day since August 28, 2013

On 6 days of the week I learn, but Shabbat is dedicated to my main feeling: grate-full-ness.

Since feelings must be vibrated~ wombed, each day closes with a song, fitting the 7 lines

To challenge myself like that -while not knowing what will be "staged"
in my personal and in the world's drama till 2028 , exhilarates me!

2014-01-01- a NEW YEAR-still 5359 days

If I take "to heart" the message of last night,
and if I live with all my heart that I'm trusting
then I know and feel - elated and serene -
that I don't need to pressure myself to "do",
to worry, be anxious, "to petition or partner",
for my Mobile Desert Hosting Economy
will manifest - enwrapped in true love!

How quick I am to worry! to be disappointed! to judge: 'Coward'! When I asked Yussuf, whom I glorify as "my Bedouin peer" for realizing my Desert Vision, to postpone contact for 3 days, he said: "But you'll be the one to call, for I'm scared to disturb you!" "No, you, you call!"-
I womb my feelings and trust in Right Time!.

I feel deeply, highly grate-full that I was granted to birth to earth the ray of the one sun, the wave of the one ocean, the color of the one light, who chose me as her mother 49 years ago, at 4 AM.
The more so I feel the pain of her soul, despite her blessed circumstances, family, health, wisdom,
as only a mother can feel pain with her child's pain.

Immanuel's New Year blessing on his and Efrat's blog

First I read Efrat's Facebook today:
Qadimah, Go ahead 2014 -
SHOW US WHAT YOU HAVE
.
The next Facebook was an illustration shared by my daughter
which - by coincidence - responded to her sister-in-law's call!
At least on my veranda the street-cats always find a cushion
to cuddle in, when it's cold at night....

Arnon (17) shared a video, which expresses much of what I don't like,
and also much of what I would want to manifest in the World,
seen through the eyes of frustrated pupils in Western schools.
Search for "youtube: I Will Not Let an Exam Result Decide My Fate”:
and listen not only to videos but also read articles like this one
Luckily I found the wording and in it this question:

“why am I studying something that doesn't fuel my drive?”

It was the Violet Book, the turn of which it was to be picked from my shelf today: p.69-70
This fear of unworthiness and guilt needs to be cleared .. If you cannot open to the possibilities of what your true identiy and origin may be, you cannot allow your true feelings to move, or understand and accept them when they do.....
..., you are holding judgments that you deeply believe to be reality, including the ones that say your higher self cannot be fully integrated with your lower self, and even the judgment that calls one aspect high and another low..... ....Guilt has not allowed most people to admit that they have a sense of identity that they don't feel they can reveal, and I am not suggesting that you need to reveal it publicly now.

On the first day of 2014 I want to study my last Succah document - 1996 -
addressed to the hosts, not to the guests!
and then - inspired by all my experience and learning almost 18 years ago -
summarize what I already envision for the 'Mobile Desert Hosting Enterprises':
the 'ohalot', the 'rihlaat', the 'pyramidions'.

RECALLING   experiences     towards the MANIFESTATION     of the MOBILE DESERT HOSTING ECONOMY

D E S E R T    V I S I O N

ADDRESSING THE HOSTS
LAST DOCUMENT - PESACH 1996
2002_11_04, the Hebrew original was inserted already some days ago,
but now I'll juxtapose the translation for this document,
which is so relevant for the second scientific model of Desert Hosting Economy

Towards the Feast of Freedom , Pesach 1996

Exodus from the "Succayah"
which is nothing but
a house of slaves
and constrictions
[metzarim] for the HOSTS

Rachel's desire is that in the Succayah will prevail
freedom to create and truth
[instead of denial..]
that will generate love and economic comfort,,
which will come into being, when the hosts love to host.

The phenomenon:
After a weekend in the Succayah the hosts pray for one thing, that there may not come any guests. The farther the week advances towards the weekend, the greater the pressure. A new host in the Succayah loves to host,
yet within a month or two months s/he hates guests.

I'll list some of the many reasons for this phenomenon:

1. Turnover of guests: to welcome each day new people into the heart, and not together, but one goes, one comes - wears down. To explain to everyone how to use the succah and how the Succayah which is not a hotel, functions - wears down.

2. Contrary needs: There are guests who seek solitude, quiet, simple food and support for their inner processes. To bridge between these and between families with children or a bunch of friends who seek attractions- wears down.
-2-
There are religious and non-religious guests, and to arrange Shabbat that will suit both, or to foster communication between those who talk Hebrew, German, French and English and visitors who talk Arabic - wears down. The "Nebo" Succah was errected in order to prevent visitors from entering the Succayah and burden the hosts even more, but there are still visitors who demand "public relations" - this wears down.

3. Lack of content: The Guests seek more than the SPS of the desert. They want to learn, to expand, to feel full-filled, and the hosts, instead of learning with them, expanding and feeling full-filled, panic even of arranging a Succah Shabbat-Ceremony.

5. Lack of Support. The host has no time to receive support for coping with emotional events or with "moods", which hinder him/her to create with joy and to host with love and to renew his/her strength and 'to turn the frightful into the fruitful'.

7.Turnover of hosts because of the fatigue. This wastes the skills that were acquired (time!) and causes feelings of insecurity in those who stay.

-2-

4. Overload of tasks: As long as the SPS-compatible technology is primitive, the overload of technical work wears down. (e.g. the bringing of water, the constant maintenance of the Succot-entrances, the "Rukhaara", the fridges).
As long as there is no "Midbaron" and no professional service-enterprises which should be concentrated in it - the transport of guests, the provision of food ingredients, a carpentry, offices, laundromats, gas-provision, maintenance of solar systems -
there is no time for sufficient hosting

6. Lack of satisfaction: From the very beginning there is no time for the hosts to train in organizing their time and in designing their assignments creatively. Nor does it make sense to create something with guests who perhaps stay for 3 days, but not the same 3 days.

In the
morning of February 11, 1996 I approached the front of the Abraham-Succah
and there, on the earth, spread out an old embroidered table-cloth on which I wrote :

The succah is space     space of place     space of time    for my  p e e r s
The hosts loved this cloth and hung it as a picture in the succah,
but did not find the time to learn how to free time for themselves.

-3-

When the hosting business is breached to whoever comes
and when whoever comes, comes for one-two days only,
the hosts have no time for themselves.

Time - to be alone, to only observe, meditate, without any other person.
Time for "Mutual Support", for guidance and training.
Time for social togetherness of the family of the hosts.
time for personal creations: music, painting, writing
time to get feedback from the hosts both through giving to each guest, and creating fruitful communication among the guests and through receiving from the guests - understanding, gratefulness, knowledge, experience

The result is the "dissolving" of the host, lack of enjoyment and lack of functioning and leaving, or revulsion against guests and destruction of the only marketing that works- the recommendation from mouth to ear.

Conclusion: the hosting-business has to be structure in a way that the hosts will love to host guests.

Proposal:

I propose a structure of rules that will create the situation which will enable the hosts to love hosting guests - at every time and all the time.

The comparative advantage of "Succah in the Desert" is
the   u n i q u e    t a r g e t   g r o u p

As long as there is only one Succayah, only two kinds of guests will be invited:
"Learning Guests" or "Chumash-Guests" for five days.
[
Chumash: actually "the five books of the Tora" or "the five books of Moses" -from the word chamesh=5]
"Recreational Guests" or "Shabbat-Guests" for two days.

-4-

"Learning Guests" or "Chumash-Guests":
From Sunday to Thursday - 5 nights - 8-12 guests will come for learning,
with or without being tutored by the Succayah-hosts,
learning in a group or everyone on his/her own.
They'll come on the same day and leave on the same day,
even if there is no connection between them and each one registered separately.

The income of the Succayah will be each day 720 NIS (12 guests X 60 NIS)
If there will be less than 12 guests, the present guests will pay for the difference., not necessarily equally , but according to the ability of the individuals, by consensus which will be reached through a process of communication and as one of the challenges for their learning during their presence.

The guests will bring their bed-sheets, will help with bringing water and cleaning dishes and put their succahs in order at the end of their stay. Some of them will be ready to
welcome the Shabbat-guests which will take over their succah and guide them how to use it - under the condition, of course, that there will be an overlap of leaving and arriving.

The hosts will provide two meals, and if necessary even three,
simple meals according to a fixed menu,
food that is   c h e e p  in price , yet healthy and nourishing,
food that is easy to buy, to store and to prepare.

The emphasis of the hosting is not on serving food but on supporting the guests in their learning~
The goal of supporting the guests will be -
---to open a hatch to the powers hidden in the desert
---and to blaze a trail to the powers that are hidden in the human being..
For this purpose it will be suggested - if desired - to adopt a program similar to "Aetgar ba-Midbar", "A Challenge in the Desert" ,but which - by contrast - does not demand the coping with physycal survival. The time of support granted by the host will not exceed 3 times per day, one or two hours.

-5-

As to the contents of learning , here are some examples for a uniform Chumashs:
--- a Chumash for learning nature, desert and ecology
--- a Chumash for learning "Mutual Support" - as an efficient tool for evolving creative powers
--- a Chumash of silence, in which support will be given in the beginning and at the end , and a time structure will be suggested like fixed hours for meditation or for "Voice and Silence encounters" (as was the usage in 1994]
--- a Chumash for learning technical skills = combining spirit with matter, spirituality with wordliness via practical work: improvements for the sake of comfort, cleanliness and beauty in the Succayah itself (Dieter and Batia, who led some silence meetings in the Succayah invite every year guests for harvesting graves in their vinyard in the Toscana in Italy)
---a Chumash for arts - according to the talents of the present hosts,
weaving, music, ceramics, painting, dancing, theatre, meditative writing etc.
---a Chumash for learning Bible and Judaism (no need for an expert host!)
---a Chumash for training in realizing personal dreams
---a Chumash for astronomy with a teacher who desires to teach amateurs

To all the contents also an exterior teacher can be invited, of course, under the condition that the guests are ready to pay him/her, if he demands payment, or maybe an organized group with a teacher will come for 5 days!!!

Each guest or group of guests, be it from Israel or be it from abroad, can propose their own contents even if they don't have a facilitator and even if the hosts are not experts in the requested content, it's possible to learn together, guests and hosts, under the condition that the hosts stick to the rule of "maximum support time"

[the following 3 passages are not relevant for the mobile Desert Hosting enterprises.

Recreational guests or Shabbat-guests

From Friday till Shabbat - 2 nights - recreational guests will come,
not more than 12.

The income of the Succayah is also meant to be 720 NIS,
but no personal hospitality will be given and no food will be served.
Even the welcome of guests will take place
either by the preceding Chumash-guests or by a short guidance for all guests together in "Abraham". A written guide will be found in each succah, which the guests will reach by themselves - with the help of a map!

The guests will bring their bedding, put their succah in order and fill the jars with water. The guests bring their prepared food or cook for themselves by mutual agreement. Basic ingredients will be available like
salt, oil, sugar, spices, potatoes, apples, oranges, lemons, rice, pasta, and yes, bread baked by the hosts and a big pot with nourishing tasty lentil-soup.

Only one host will be available - in "Abraham" or in his/her cabin, as s/he wants.
to give advice or guidance and render the guests a sense of safety /security.
If s/he wishes s/he can also arrange a Shabbat ceremony if invited to do so.

Another possibility is (remember the program "Guests become Hosts", which was in usage in the year 1993), that oldtimers among guests or former hosts will enjoy to host for a weekend, by either paying or not paying as guests.

January 2, 2014

I didn't "manage" to complete the "strainful" translation, leave alone summarize what I am envisioning at present!
Let go of 'Haespeqitis'! What grows underground, will grow, perhaps even better, if above the ground I'm slow!
[Remember the tiny ceramic turtle - which Gadi gave you years ago and which is postured on the narrow frame of your computer]

-7-

If during the Chumash-days succahs will stay empty , it will be possible to invite "Retreat-Guests" without the obligation for 5 days, but also without food and without personal hosting , unless - life is always bigger than rules - guests and hosts want to invite someone for an activity, a personal conversation or a meal.

The hosts in the liberated Succayah

The policy of inviting the above target groups, with all the components and clauses that were hinted at , will allow for both - time for the hosts and love for the guests.

Time for the hosts

The Succayah will function in a way that each host (not 'guest', an error in the original) will have 3 hours time - a l o n e - each day, "alone", i.e. also without a meeting for Mutual Support and without social meetings between the hosts.
The host will also insist on days of freedom [vacation] in retreat and silence,
in addition to the vacation with family and friends in town.

Also Rita
[our secretary in town] will have free time for creative work...and will not be the slave of the Succayah...

Training for the hosts towards tutoring during the "Chumashs" or "Aetgars":

In the first three months I, Rachel (or another expert) will train the hosts to tutor the Chumash guests, by being present during all the common meetings with the guests. Processing of experiences and feelings and discerning "lessons" for the hosts will be carried out in the presence of the guests and will be part of their own learning

-8-

The term "salary" will disappear from the dictionary of "Succah in the Desert":
The host candidate is well aware of the goal of his/her work in the Succayah. S/he comes in order "to grow", to learn being master of his/her life and to train in identifying his/her desires towards realizying dreams in the future, if in the desert or elsewhere.

Hosting in the desert is a kind of "Aetgar ba-Midbar"
[challenge in the Desert" ,
ten times more powerful than the week-long program we conducted in 1994.
The host must be committed to daily processes of healing and being truthful to him/herself. But if s/he wishes, s/he will receive much more from this,
s/he will learn also to evolve many of his/her creative powers.

This Succayah will be declared as a hosting-business
which will be managed by learners or creators or pensioners etc.'
i.e. by people who have one of the two: money on the bank = exterior securiy,
or trust in the heart -
"my cup is runneth over" [Psalm 23:5]

The Succayah provides food and lodging and laundry and pocket-money for traveling and necessary clothing and small extras. This is not a matter of idealism or of self-sacrifice but a training in a new kind of consuming and consumerism without which there will be no economy or livelihood in the desert - ((and not on the planet in the future!))

The revenues are calculated like this:
30 days a month X 720 NIS = 21600, in the ideal case, are meant to produce
also some earnings for the hosts.
But let's assume there will come in only 12000 NIS that will cover the expenses only.
Then the hosts have to remember for what purpose they came to be hosts.
Wasn't it in order to live a life full of knowing, creating and loving?

-9-

and this without expenses or making depts
(Esalen in California, for instance, or Kibbutz Harduf,
demand from the volunteers to pay for the right to work at the place....)

Yet the more the hosts perfect themselves in hosting, in tutoring and in involving the guests in the essence of the situation in the Succayah
and the better they communicate [already in the brochure]
the reasons for the rules which enable hosts to love hosting guests,
the earlier a year of hosting in a Succayah will also produce monetary fruits
be it for studying or be it for the realization of dreams in the future.

-10-

The Succayah will be "economic", - yes, , the Succayah will arouse great demand for additional Succayot and the hosts will experience joy and creativity and growth and they, too, will want to have additional Succayahs.

1) The price
,[ 2014: Why "price"? Shouldn't it be "conditions"?]
The offering of programs for learners and vacationers together with the image that is different from any popular hosting-business, which will come into being as a result of the above rules, will attract the right people in the right number.

2) Most of the guests will be singles or couples - not "wearing-down" families-
and young people who will connect with each other and create a " Yakhad ", "togetherness" that will continue to attract them to meet again in the Succayah in the future as has been shown by the graduates of the "Aetgar ba-Midbar".

3) The graduates of the Chumashs will be strong marketers, for "if the heart is full, the mouth flows over".
Only a clear brochure with the rules and the possibilities is asked for
(in all the 6 years of the Succayah almost no guest came as a result of advertising or intended marketing. Most of them came because of info from mouth to ear or because of reports in the media).

4) There will be guests who will absorb the message of the Succayah as a training space for dreamers, or the message of the Succah vision as unending possibilities to create. That's how the critical mass will come into being -for building more and more Succayot and of composing a Midbarya and then Midbaryot in the future Those guests will be very involved and will help also in the maintenance, for instance, or in the tutoring of learners.

And again and as a summary:
The policy of inviting the above target-group, with all its hinted-at components and clauses will create time of the hosts as well as love for the guests.

It took me another day to complete this translation
and ..... to cope with serious frustration.
This is much too complex, too complicated!
The Desert Hosting Economy for creation and recreation
must be so "obvious" in its concept that people will say:
"How come we didn't think about this before!"

I pray, that this night with my sleeping and dreaming
will inspire me with a first draft of a systematic concept!

I'll be grate-full, if everyday during being "pregnant' with the Mobile Desert Hosting Economy
a little sign from heaven will be given to me, like I find in Ran Lichtner's sharing in Facebook
what his wife Nava advertises:
Kundalini Yoga in the morning - at Karkur, where they live.

I envision them moving to the desert:

Ran will transfer his bamboo-business and -school to a place like Mitzpe-Ramon,

and teach future Ohalah/Rihlaah-owners/hosts to construct the bamboo-pole-triangles,

which will be the outline of every tent, even if the material of the sheets will develop.
s."Invention of Pyramidal tent" and " R&D of Pyramidal tent", [yeri'ot = in the song for Ran: 'curtains']
And Nava will teach in Ohalot/Rihlaat, wherever her talent and personality are wanted.

2010_09_09-10 , this year's date of Rosh-Hashanah, New Year,
a time to even more intensely focus on my desire and intent

New-Year blessing from my friend Ran Lichtner, an expert in bamboo
Like a bamboo-plant in the courtyard:
The power inside,
in silence and in consistency,
receives presence in the physical world

A year of flourishing, joy and gladness in the heart,
Ran Lichtner, Bamboo-Center

EXPLORING
The more I learn from the Succah-Experience
and apply what I learnt to the Ohalah-Vision,
the more I'm troubled concerning "transport".
I came across a postcard from Ilse Strauss,
the sister of Franz Rosenzweig's wife Edith,
and the first of the family to move to Israel.
That was in 1933... The card is from 1970,
a vacation with her husband in Switzerland.
On the pretty landscape picture is printed:
"Am Weg zur Braunwald-Alp.
Der autofreie Ferienort der Ostschweiz
"the car-free holiday place in Eastern Switzerland

Think of it: 1970!
Now there are 3 000 000 cars in tiny Israel alone!

I'll not yet mention my futuristic technological dreams...
So far, guests and provisions have to be brought by cars.
A car for driver+6 guests - driving twice back and forth
But where should it be parked near an Ohalah/Rihlaah?
Everyone, including me, will jump: "It will be stolen!"
And where in town could the guests leave there cars?

Could this be one of the many phenomena, that show,
that the unwholeness of humans does still not allow,
that the desert invites us for creation and recreation?

Also from "Sinai 1996" , but added 10 years later:
I can only hope, that the Future will prove,
that our co-creation in 1996 was a seed that will grow in its time.
That and why the time was not ripe then,
I finally understood only in January 2006,
when the aggravation of the ruined joint in my right groin told me:

"You must cease to manifest your vision on the exterior level!
As long as those Bedouins in the Zealots' Valley
- and they are only a microcosm of humankind -
are hating themselves and therefore each other,
any exterior success would come at a price of terrible reversals,
just like the "successes" of the French or Communist Revolution.
You yourself must focus now on healing yourself into wholeness
and - by extension - all of Creation
, all of the Middle East.
Your experience of 19 years in the Desert and all your models
of "Peace through Desert Hosting SPS-compatible Economy"
will be manifested in its right time - through your future peers.

EXPLORING
From "Succah-Glossary"
On Febr. 22, 2010 I was sent a link to the site of Itai Harari,
who suggests 3 day hikes into the Negev-Desert
for small groups from 2 to 10 participants only.
He calls his site "SILENCE"...
I feel, that Itai's approach to the Desert is very much like mine.
and I hope, he'll open the SPS, the Space, Purity and Silence,
to many people.

2014 I now explored the Silence site,
but it does not seem to be active.
What a pity
.
Isn't this another case of "fatigue"?
The desert can not be "conquered" alone,
and not without Mutual Support between pioneers!

January 3, 2014
My eyes fell on the VISIT-CARD of 2006, which    stands   to the right of my computer.
It was completed (by my son) only after I had to "cease manifesting" on the exterior level

RECALLING   experiences     towards the MANIFESTATION     of the MOBILE DESERT HOSTING ECONOMY

It's all there:
The young Yusuf ,
the son of Yahia, the Bedouin,
and of Samira from Bethlehem,
preparing tea on a fire.
Father, mother and 8 children
live in a miserable shack
(see the picture with Yusuf below)
among 17 extended families
in the Zealots' Valley

The pyramidal tent
with a mobile solar panel,
hinting at both -
the possibility for guests
to integrate desert and computer,
and the "fact", that I'm the human,
through whom

the Mobile Desert Hosting Economy
is meant to manifest

The Cave of the Womb
which - perhaps - prophesied
my presant pregnancy
with a desert structure
based on mobile
Ohalot/Rihlaat/Pyramidions

Yesterday I requested, that each day
a little sign from heaven will be sent to me
Today a big, big sign came to me
from Gadi who told me not only,
that the municipalities
of Ramat-Negev and Mitzpe-Ramon
are joining together
in order to promote tourism in the Negev,
but that he himself has registered
as candidate for the assignment!

I watched the video of Ramat-Negev
(whose major is still Shmuel Rifman
the man among the people of money, power, talent,
whom I petitioned and who despite his liking for my work,
let me down "in the end"
see also the movie in slow motion about Rifman and the Bedouins)

and saw in the short animations in the beginning both -
a tent and a massage!
This could be an icon for "creation and recreation"
in the Mobile Desert Hosting enterprises

E N V I S I O N I N G   the manifestation of the mobile model of my Desert-Hosting-Economy vision

See another version - in Hebrew - on Jan. 6-7,
and see both versions on a special new page,
with the intent to upgrade them there in time!

Thorns and thistles,
yet I discern "water"
running out from
the left cactus-blade.

"Ten years from now you will see hundreds of
Ohalot/Rihlaat/Pyramidions
hidden in cosy corners of rocks and wadis
all over the desert of the Negev, the Arava, the SaltSea,
yes all over the mountains of Palestine-Yehuda.

For soon there will go out a "charter"
from the authorities for Nature Protection and Ecological Tourism
in the name of the governments of Israel and Palestine,
that will call creative and brave people.....

This far I came, when I got a call from Gadi, telling me what for me are very big news!
News about a new authority, which seems to be customized exactly to what is needed!
If Gadi would become the director of it, I could truly be hidden, as I'm supposed to be!
It seemed congruent with my "summary" of my vision as far as it has matured up to now
to add it to the official tender of Raz Arbel,
Director of the Tourism Dep. and Partnership 2Gether
I let myself be inspired, sculpting the concept in one go, without correcting or editing.
Probably many questions are left open, but today, Jan. 3,
on the Eve of Shabbat and of my daughter's 49th birthday
I don't want to answer them myself
.
that will call creative and brave people
to become almost independent entrepreneurs of mobile Desert Hosting Enterprises.
"Almost" - because there will be rules, and the keeping of the rules must be controlled.

The call can go out immediately,
for all the experience to begin and to manage a pyramidion
has been gathered in the past [in time I'll add links to my website]
and is available for rightaway setting up 3 models,
which should prove to everyone involved in nature, ecology and economy,
that a mobile Desert Hosting Economy,
based on the Desert Resources of SPS,
Space, Purity and Silence,
is feasable and viable in a way,
that the earth and nature are left virginal.
Except for a few leveled traces on the earth:
- The triangles for the pyramidal tents,
- the square of the four-tent mishkan,
- the paths between tents and mishkan.
Nothing above the earth will be permanent,
the pyramidal tents will be dismantled once a week,
for each new group of guests will erect their tents.
The entire business will be removed after half a year,
and will wander off to another place for another half year.

The purpose of this main rule is not only the protection of the earth.
It is also the condition for keeping the owners-hosts vital in their creativity
and for involving the guests in the practical aspects of their recreation.
For the main motive of potential owners-hosts will not be their livelihood,
but their desire to create and to grow, and to be free and independent.

If after one year and having moved the business after half a year,
the owner-hosts have proven the viability of an Ohalah/Rihlah -
then the authority will declare that the desert is open
for brave and nature-sensitive people, Jews, Bedouins, Palestinians,
to suggest "desert-corners" where they want to start their business.
The candidates are solely responsible for financing a suitable vehicle,
and the materials for their 16 tents (12 for guests + the mishkan,
composed of 4 tents, 3 for the hosts and 1 for the kitchen,
while the space between them is covered by a shade
and serves for meals, activities and - on the sides -for storage).
The tents of the first 3 Ohalah/Rihlah models will be fabricated by hand,
so as to give everyone an idea, how cheap the investment really is.
After all an entire economy of numerous citizens will be based on it,
and within it Ben-Gurion's prophecy, that the destiny of Israel will be decided in the Negev.
Of course not only of Israel, but in all the countries which are mainly desert!

For the first 3 models there will be no office in town,
but a volunteer - pensioner perhaps - will mediate the registration and arrival of guests.
Nor will the State demand VAT or income-tax from the hosts of the first 3 models,
not only in order to make their start easier moneywise,
but also in order to not complicate their pioneer work by bookkeeping.

Once this mobile Desert Hosting Economy will spread out,
there will be two big challenges- Water and Transport,
as long as there are only very few "civilized" places in the desert,
from which to draw food provisions and water.
The vision is, that soon there will come up the structure of
Midbaronim and Midbararyot.
But during the first years the Ohalot/Rihlaat will be dependent on "providing places".
This will limit the choice of the "desert-corners" suitable for a hosting business.
As to the source of water during the first years,
it will depend on the Good Will of the municipality.
Right from the beginning of the spreading of the mobile Desert Hosting Economy,
researchers and developers - not only in Israel - will be happy about the challenge,
to renew and upgrade the Nabatic water-techonoly.
The vision is - an encaved cistern close to every place suitable for a hosting business.
(details that are already explored - will be given in time)

A much greater challenge is transport.
SPS and cars are incompatible!!!
And even if the rules say:
- only an open truck, which can transport water, food-ingredients twice a week,
+ 6 guests, (and drive twice to get the other 6 coming guests and drive back the other 6 leaving guests), there still need to be trails that get close to the Ohalah/the Rihlaah,
and that can be parked without disturbing the view of the guests and without been stolen.
As to the arrival of the guests: it will be their responsibility,
if they want to park their cars in town or if they better come by public transport.

Now to the target-group of the guests and the management of a mobile desert hosting business:
First principle: only a group of 12 people can be hosted.
the group might be organized , with a teacher,
or the first people who register, find other people to join them.
The price is for 12 people and if only 4 come, they still have to pay for 12.
And the price is either for 5 days: the Chumash-guests or for 2 days: the Shabbat-guests.
If one of the group or the entire group do not want to stay 5 or 2 days,
they still must pay for 5 or for 2 days.
This not only allows for a price that is extremely low
and make this kind of recreation available almost for every person in our area
,
it enormously simplifies the accounting work of the hosts.
It will also allow them, sometimes to take a week off and rest.
The prices which are suggested for the first 3 models:
a Chumash-group pays - per person and day - 60 NIS = 12x5x60 = 3600 for 5 days
A Weekend-group pays - per person and day - 100 NIS = 12x2x100 =2400 for 2 days.
For the owner-hosts this means: 6000 NIS per week = 24000 NIS per month,

minus maximum 6000 NIS for food, water, fuel (car) and gas (cooking, baking)
and perhaps some return for the investment of tent-materials, solar panels and car.
Thus each of the 3 hosts will have an income of 6000 NIS,
which s/he can spend on his/her flat at home or on future studies and dreams.

The functioning of an Ohalah/a Rihlaah:
Though the guests come as a group, everyone is free to do what s/he wants,
unless they decide - beforehand or while there - to do or learn or heal together.
Everyone of the 12 will have his/her own tent and erect it after his/her arrival.
[There will be a small model in the mishkan, written and verbal guidance].
If people (couple) still want to sleep or be together in a tent, it's up to them.
What is important, is the freedom to choose al-one-ness or togetherness.
In the tents they find 2 mattresses , one along a each of the two sides,
while the third side is composed of 2 "curtains",
which allow the game of opening and closing the two "doors",
according to sun and shade, wind and lack of wind, day and night.

There will be a portable solar panel for a lamp and a vent in summer,
and it's up to the guest to turn the panel to the sun along the day.
The earth is covered by mats and between the mattrasses
(for which the guests bring their own bedding or sleeping-bag)
there is kind of table+box for their private equipment, computer, books etc.
There also is place for a water-container and a copper-bowl for washing.

As to the Mishkan, the owner-hosts will do everything,
to keep the storage of equipment and food -ingredients to a minimum.
Why three owner-hosts? Or one owner with two assistants?
It is vitally important, that always at least one host can rest.
To rest means to be al-one, no people, no conversation.
Only someone who has opened his/her heart to guests
time and again, for a week, for weeks, for months,
can know, how much strength this takes.
But without an open heart on the part of the host,
the Desert Hosting Business will not succeed!

Also the hosts need more than relative convenience in their work,
and regular rest and al-oneness.
They need support for processing their feelings and experiences,
and they need guidance for improving their way of hosting.
In the year of the scientific experiment with 3 models,
the people who can guide and support will be volunteers,
perhaps from among the oldtimers of Succah in the Desert.

As to the activities, excursions, workshops etc. of the guests,
both the Chumash-Guests and the Weekend-Guests,
the possibilities are endless and don't need to be listed here.

I must learn about "Taglit-Birthright" , mentioned by Raz Arbel - as a target-group for the pyramidions, for both - creating and recreating
I must also learn about Partnership2gether and explore the 30 min. audio with Roni Marom, the new major of Mitzpe-Ramon , s. him after the elections

49 years and 100 minutes ago I gave birth to Ronnit, my daughter!!!

A few - continuous - pages in my 1986 diary may honor her as well as her brothers
and create a bridge between my first steps and the maturing of my Desert Vision.

My nightly body-feeling-work of twisting, yawning, wailing
this time did not bring up an idea to do something,
like a week ago when I was demanded to hitchhike to Mitzpe-Ramon,
but to complement yesterday's sculpting-in-one-go of "the Vision"
by pointing out the most vital precondition for it to manifest:

There are two horrendous "holy cows" in the State of Israel,
that must be removed,
before the Mobile Desert Hosting Economy
can be established in Israel's desert, which covers 60% of the State:
the seizure of the land by the Army
and the "protection" of the land by the Nature Protecting Authorities.

As to the Army:
Even if not touching the pretexts for this "undisputable" Moloch,
- in the digital era there is no longer a coercion for the Army
to exclude humans from so much of Israel's land and Nature.

As to the Nature Protecting Authority:
The time has come for a paradigm change:
Not protecting Nature from the "enemy" Man
but integrating Adam and Adamah.

Maybe, for the first 3 scientific models
there can be found suitable "cosy rocky corners",
but a large-scale economic structure is unthinkable,
as long as there is almost no desert available.

Ronnit and Uri helped me
with painting the roof of the bus,
after I had let install these iron bars,
which helped me to transport for instance
the equipment of mattresses and a table
from under the "veranda'.
Much later - in 1996-97- in Eilat
I constructed a"pent-house"on them.

1985-Children who left their nest: Micha to the tents of the Navy at Acco and Ronnit with Uri to a noisy flat in the city,
with a cute composition on an old chair: there two cats, cuddling, attended by the ancient doll from my grandmother.

I am even proud of my son for having been among the 22 pilots who in 1983 finished 2 years of training (out of some 800 candidates).
Though he didn't "make it" to become a "tayas-qrav", a "battle-pilot", and only later was grateful for having been spared this position,
we, mothers and sons, are still proud of our army achievements....

Will the Mobile Desert Hosting Enterprises provide opportunities for mothers and sons and daughters to be   p r o u d ?
If not, there is no chance for the end of armies and wars....

How wondrous, that exactly amidst the pages of my 1986 diary I also find this compostion:
Primeminister Shimon Peres with King Hassan II of Morocco, Chairman of the Arab League
Haim Herzog, Israel's President at that time , called it "a breakthrough on the way to peace".

1985: Outside and inside my mobile home
- on a long, long, long journey towards
creating the conditions for exterior peace
by healing into self-acceptance and wholeness inside

Back to January 4, 2014

Dear Debbi
[who volunteers to bring her neighbors products from a goats farm),

I have to pay 100 NIS more for electricity than usual because of the heater,
and decided that for the time being I must do without milk, yogurt and eggs.
Though my youngest son, to whom I still owe 5000 NIS, [for my dentures,
and for the final payment of 3000 NIS - initially they demanded 188000!
which I "owed" for the land of "Succah in the Desert",
which I never possessed nor wanted anyone to possess)
implores me to take it easy and not go below my low standard of consumption,
for my self-esteem it's important that I'll pay back my debt till the end of June.
(When he was 18 and saw me struggling with financing both
my grownup children's needs and the dream of my mobile home,
he said: "We are afraid, that one day you'll become a financial burden on us!"
Of course, he doesn't think so today at all,
but I myself desire to manage as much as I can,
despite my dreams, which have not stopped....
So please, don't send me the reminder on Thursdays.
I'll come back to you again when I can afford it.
Thank you!---- Rachel
