his daughter's consent.

Miryam Avitan
was very happy
with the new name
Efrat

and now we are all happy.

Immanuel's first wife
bears the same name:
Ruth!

Tamara: Tamar and Rut,
both widows, both daughters-in-law,
one of a father-in-law, Juda,
and one of a mother-in-law, Naomi,
both the ancestresses of David Messiah.

"the nagging name Ruth"
It should be written without an "h",
just like "Efrat"!

Moreover, when written with an "h"
the mystical link between Efrat and Rut
gets lost in English.
For, as I found out,
there is this order of fictitional characters:
T -ama - R [Megilat-Tamar]
ef - R -a T [Megilat-Efrat]
R - u- T [Megilat-Rut].
The name "Rut",
not known to me from any other sources,
was created out of
T-ama-R and ef-R-a-T.

this time truly swells,
as it did some years later,
when her first grandchild was born,
though not...
as a child of her daughter Efrat-Rut...

The joy of all those barren women in the Bible, barren at at time
when their only reason for existence was in having children
(see The FIRST WOMEN)
is captured beautifully in Phillip Ratner's "Birth of Isaac".

Jubilate, O barren,
